Good luck on your journey. Based on what ive been reading here and looking at people's timeline, i think its better to have RFE than not for at least we know that they have been processing our case. And hoping that it would also be faster to get the NOA2 at least. I got RFE after a month from NOA1. Waiting game. We need more patience here. Goodluck again on our journey and lets all hope that we will be with our fiance very soon. :)

Hi, for k1 applicants in manila, i was reading the doceuments required at st luke's extension clinic, it says:

B. K VISA APPLICANTS

D. Letter of Case Number

Principal Applicant - original & 2 photocopies

Derivative - 2 photocopies

If Letter of Case Number was received via email, print 3 copies for the principal applicant and 2 copies for each derivative.

However, i do not have the letter of case number. Has anyone been on the same scenario?

bublik,

You are totally within the range. Our NOA1 was from January 12, NOA2 February 25.

You have at least 3 weeks until you should even consider to start worrying.

Thanks! It is very strange though, why some applications just randomly sit like this... Did you have any complications in your case? We both are divorced, me with name changes- maybe it takes longer to check all of this? I can't imagine why- here in the US it is a matter of a quick database search.

Does anybody knows if they check foreign fiancees at this stage or later in the Embassy?

FYI to all ya'll at CSC, you really shouldn't be complaining about waiting weeks for your NAO2 when the USCIS stated processing time is 5 months for the I-129f. Your timeline on VJ is not a cornerstone for you to base your complaints regardless of CSC processing ridiculously fast in comparison to TSC where they are only touching on August 2014 approvals. Many of us in this particular forum are waiting at TSC and are probably only hitting the 2 month wait mark and we can easily expect to be waiting past the apparent 5 month mark. So please try and give at least a little thought and compassion to everyone waiting at TSC before complaining, being worried or stressing about your weeks waiting.

Sorry to slightly rant but it's increasingly annoying to see CSC approvals from January/February 2015 when those of us on here at TSC will be waiting far longer, I'm sure my fellow TSCer's will agree.

This is why there are TCS specific forums. However, suggesting we compare our cases to yours is ridiculous. Why??? We compare to the similar cases, which is only natural.

If all the cases around you were getting approved (no matter 2 weeks or 2 years from NOA1), you would be getting worried regardless.
