Hello fellow January filers ,

Today I found out case was received by NVC and they gave me the case number. Good news as the conflict in Donbass is getting worse by the day, just today spoke with my fiance and heard explosions so near she had to go to basement. We are really hoping a peace agreement is reached. So tomorrow I will do the DS-160 online application with her and gather the required documents to be sent next week. Congrats to all the people who already have NOA 2 and good luck to those who are waiting.

Thank you guys!

Jose

Can you correct your timeline to show that you were not transferred to CSC? You were routed but not transferred. This is an important distinction that affects the timeline estimates for TSC customers.

I'm confused on the NOA-1 dates - I got my text and e-mail on Jan 29 but still have not received a hard copy like it seems most people get. I called the office and they told me that I will not get a hard copy, only the text and e-mail if I signed the sheet for that. It seems like most everyone else is getting both though. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks! =)

You should receive a hard copy in the mail. It's basically a receipt showing they processed your payment. I wouldn't say that it's exactly necessary in having it, as long as you have your receipt number. Can you view your status online yet?

Noted! I was a bit confused when I filled it up but anyways, thanks though ;)

I received an expedite for my case based on humanitarian reasons. Yes is sad she leaves exactly in Donetsk we met before war started and we even had plans that I visit Donetsk and meet with her family but is not possible know. I only will send proof of relationship and other things I included in the original petition so she can have this if asked for. Also the letter of intent. Kiev does not required affidavit of support and I read that I can email the w-2 tax returns and employer letter. I know it may take time to get to Ukraine so I will send ahead of time.

Yep, I can view my case status and she looked at it too and said there weren't any updates and that if I received the text and e-mail that I would not be receiving anything else via snail mail. She also said that NOA-2 will not come as a text or e-mail and will only come snail mail, although it seems like I could probably see it online before I will get it in the mail I assume...

Jose - Kyiv does require the affidavit of support (well, the old I-134 version, but still). Item # 3 here: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/KEV-1_form.pdf
