Mailed off the I-129f on 1/13/15 and saw that it was delivered this morning. It feels good to start the process and now the waiting begins

FYI to all ya'll at CSC, you really shouldn't be complaining about waiting weeks for your NAO2 when the USCIS stated processing time is 5 months for the I-129f. Your timeline on VJ is not a cornerston

Ok so our status is now viewable on the USCIS web site and it says "Request for additional evidence was mailed". We mailed our responce to RFE letter today, it should be delivered on Saturday and they could probably see it on Monday.

Yeah, from what I've read around the forums is once they've received your evidence, they're usually pretty quick!

My Fiancé and I sent out our paperwork 2/2/15 hoping to hear something soon! We're on pins and needles waiting. We haven't seen each other in a year and a half. Hoping to not have to wait too much longer.

We sent our petition on January 22nd and just got out hard copy NOA1 today! Now it feels like the process has really started! :)

Thank you! I know, it's been such a long time! Hopefully it does go quickly. I'm new to this so, I should get a email/text confrontation then wait for something else? And CSC is for Californa? I expressed mailed it so it should of gotten there 2/3 (I'm hoping)

If you filled in and sent in with your petition form G-1145 then you will receive a text and e-mail saying that they received your petition and it will also have your receipt number which is your NOA-1. You will also receive a hard copy of your NOA-1 by mail approximately a week after they send you a text. Does the NOA-1 the first step in getting approved? Can I call a number to see if they received my papers?

01-15-2015: USCIS received the package i-129f

01-21-2015: Received notification with receipt no.

01-27-2015: Received hard copy of NOA1

02-02-2015: Approved petition (yay!!! So fast)

02-06-2015: Received hard copy of NOA2

02-18-2015: Assigned MNL case #

03-03-2015: Received hard copy of NVC Letter

03-16-2015: Medical

03-17-2015: Medical result passed!(Thank god)

03-30-2015: Interview (Passed! Thank god)

How long did it takes to you to received the hard copy of noa2?

We received the electronic NOA2 on 01-30-15 and got hard copy today 02-05-15

So about a week but it came from California and I live in Arizona so the mailing time is not very long.

Hi all!

I'm new also but I received by text NOA-1 on January 29 but no hard copy yet - does it essentially just say the same thing? The online tracker with the case number was finally updated yesterday 2/4, however it just tells me that they "sent a note that will tell me how the case will be processed." Is this just the standard statement while waiting for NOA-2? We also got transferred to CSC. Thanks everyone and good luck!!!
