I won't discuss the CSC/TSC thread here because it is off-topic and would only derail the OP's thread even further. The reason I refer to the instructions so often is that many RFEs are caused by either deliberate shortcuts (i.e. not sending a document that is specifically required) or careless mistakes (i.e. G325 instead of G325A). Carefully following the instructions can greatly reduce the chance of an RFE. In some situations, they are necessary to clarify issues that USCIS finds, and that's why they exist. I am also careful about basing my advice on many VJ users' posts because the same lack of attention to detail that got them the RFE in the first place can very well lead them to misrepresent the story of their case or leave out important parts. Of course, USCIS makes mistakes too, and sometimes they even work in our favor, which is what happened with you and your statement of intent to marry. But if I had to choose between a random VJ user's word and that of USCIS about a particular case, I'd believe USCIS 99 times out of 100. You can of course disagree with my way of seeing things, but that does not mean the advice I offered in this thread is not based on facts or the way the process works in the vast majority of cases.

To the OP: I believe all of your questions have been answered, but if not, it seems you have quite a crowd of people willing to help you in this thread, so ask away.

Ok. Since peoples experience shouldn't be taken into account (The "random users" as you nicely refer to all the REAL people who uses VJ) I assume there is no need for Visa Journey foruns. People should just go and read USCIS instructions or whichever agency they're sending their cases to since everything is so clear!

But I guess we all answered to this post and the user should follow the instructions he feel comfortable with!
