I'am another January filer ( Vermont) - Date of I 751 ( 01/09/2015)

NOA1 ( 01/13/2015)

Biometrics ( 02/03/2015)

Transfered ( 08/18/2015 )

who was not only a lurker on this board

But just like everyone else a frustrated one with the whole slow ROC process

That was until today around 3 pm Eastern time when i checked my email to see that my status had changed to.

New Card Is Being Produced

On October 23, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC********** and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

So after 283 days (9 months, 10 days) of mind blowing waiting I'm finally doing the happy dance

To everyone else who is still waiting to hear good news i hope it won't be too much longer

Guys, all of you who got approvals and/or RFE letters, did you get them from your local office or from CSC? I called USCIS and they were trying to assure me that my case is in CSC when the status says local office.. so confusing. I haven't received anything since my case was transferred and we want to send some extra bank statements as evidence (we sent only 2 initially ) but we don't know where to send them!

The day before yesterday, i was assured by the officer i spoke to that ny case WAS NOT in CSC despite the two transfer notices and online status. This is a ###### up agency who has no idea what they are doing

Yeah it didn't sound like they knew what they were talking about. We'll go ahead and mail them to both locations. I filed in Feb and most of Feb filers got their approvals except of me of course.. It's weird that none of Feb filers who got transferred got RFE yet. We might be the lucky ones ending up with an interview.

Ok - So my letter congratulating me and stating my approval for Green Card came from my local office.

A day later my green card arrived and doesn't state where it came from there's a PO box address in Laguna Niguel, CA on the letter and than a number for USCIS National Customer Service Center.

I guess my case is indeed in my local office (Baltimore). We sent our bank statements there AND to CSC. I am just hoping that the office is busy and that's why there's a delay, we are starting to get worried though.. I can't wait to get this weight off the shoulders. I am starting a new job next week and the extension letter is not listed as one of the acceptable documents to prove work eligibility so I might have to go and get the stamp in my passport and find out what's going on.

Can you please confirm me if you received any other letter (petition or approval of notice from USCIS) other than the one from your local office. What did you receive with your green card? Did you receive any other letter or approval notice when you received your green card.
