Hello ,

I'm still waiting :(( No update for me. I sent the RFE package on 09/28/15, they received it on 10/3/15. I guess they need more time :))

I wonder if I do not receive answer by the end of the year, can I apply for Citizenship or not ?

Any thoughts on that ??!!

Hi, I called the USCIS last Firday, and got a chance talked to the officer. She just told me that some officer just need more time, because when they sent out a RFE, that means the case go into another category. I think it depends on the case and who is working on your case. It will take them up to 60 days to process the case.

I am thinking if I still no receive any feedback from them by December, I will file for the citizenship.

Congrats to you Jan. filers who are starting to see results. We haven't been visiting VJ much but we were a Vermont Jan filer who got approved in August. We got transferred to Cali and from there it wasn't long.

Weird thing for us, two green cards in, no interviews at all.

How about you SHELLY_SHELLY? Any news? Its been a while for you.

I called the office last week, the officer tole me that they just need some time.... But they have too much cases have to work on and also depends on who is working on your case. Because some officers are slow.....

They just said they need up to 60 days to work on the RFE.

I will just wait....

If still nothing, I will apply for citizenship by then

I am not sure if my experience would be helpful or even relevant at all, but I wanted to share it just in case.

I ended up submitting two service inquiries. One via the USCIS website by myself. Another one through the customer representative at USCIS. On the website, I couldn't enter the receipt number that I use to check for the updates on the USCIS service inquiry webpage. I had to use the receipt number on the NOA. When I called the USCIS the next day to ask if RFE was sent to me, the customer representative submitted the service inquiry for the receipt number that I use to check for the updates.

The inquiry response from the USCIS, saying that the case was still pending, was based on the NOA receipt number (service inquiry via the website). I have not received any response for the inquiry through the USCIS phone call, but the case got approved a few days after the response.

"On October 19, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by November 18, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

So, i called USCIS today.

They told me my case is not in California. I am guessing it is in Vermont. The officer didn't say where my case is W&F!!!! The last time i called them, the officer said the case is transferred to California. I got two NOAs for transfer to CSC.

He said that "your representative contacted us on October 8th and we mailed a response on the 20th. The response states that the case is currently being adjudicated. In 45 days, you will be sent an NOA. The NOA can be an Approval, Denial, Notice of request, or Notice to Revoke."

Wonder W&F that means now.
