I think my local office is Atlanta. But, according to the transfer notice my case is in California. But, according to the automated phone service, it is in St. Albans, Vermont.

By the way, I applied for the AOS in Michigan and had my interview in Detroit. Hopefully and maybe that is the reason why my ROC is taking so long, because they need to take a look at my old material...

I dont know how long will I have to wait...just wanna know if there is anyone else pedning from atlanta too.

I have no clue man...What exactly they work on and how they work on those files....Infact I did send them more then what required like pic collage and air tickets to out vacation...mails.etc etc... but these guys are one of their own type......Wait frustate and irritate.

Yeah, we also moved in Jun 2014 and our local office changed. Maybe that is the reason for the delay.

I do not think it should take more than a couple of more months......hopefully. I am trying not to think much about it, because there is little that any of us can do about this except for give ourselves a heart attack.

It is just frustrating.

From the cover letter:

• Copies of passports and green cards.
• Copies of Social Security cards.
• Copy of our health insurance cards showing the coverage for wife and daughter.
• A copy of my wife’s learner's driving permit validating our home address.
• Copies of joint bank statements for 2012 and 2013.
• Copies of our debit cards for our joint account.
• A copy of our 2012 and 2013 joint US tax return.
• A copy of my last will and testament.
• A copy of the beneficiary designation for my 401k retirement account.
• A copy of our vacation itineraries for vacations that we took during 2014.
• Pictures of our time together in China and America.
• A copy of a Christmas card we received at our home this past year.
• A copy of our daughter’s school grades saved from the school website this past semester.

Hi all,

We filed for lifting of conditions on 2015-01-05, got first NOA on 2015-01-13, did biometrics on 2015-03-11, got transfer notice on 2015-08-17, got RFE on 2015-09-14, overnighted RFE materials the following day (which they received on 9/16), and we just received notice online that new card is being produced. So it looks like they are looking at RFE materials in pretty good time.

For the initial packet, we only sent a few pieces because we thought that buying a co-op in NYC and having a mortgage together was enough, but maybe they don't know how NY real estate works over in California, so for the RFE we included:

Work insurance showing beneficiary

Tax returns showing cohabitation even before we got married

Joint tax returns showing cohabitation after marriage, showing we lived together at 2 addresses

W-2s and 1099-MISCs

Cell phone bill showing both person's phone numbers

Bank accounts showing that even though we had separate bank accounts, money was flowing into the one joint account

Homeowner's insurance document showing both names

Letter from our real estate management company

Copies of the previous I485 application response from USCIS sent to both me and my husband (just to say again, HEY, we live together and you already knew that)

Utilities bill showing both names

A couple of wedding photos

My landlord wrote me a letter that me and my wife have been living in our apartment for the past 3 years. He singed it and put his cell number on it. Is that good?

So today(date of decisions was 09/23/2015) I got the letter informing me that my request for removal of conditional basis of my permanent resident status has been approved. It came from my local office in Tampa, even though I got two letters before that it was transferred to CSC.
