If the text message that I got on Tuesday morning was for an RFP I would imagine that I would have received the RFP by today. What you guys think?

Hey Israelidude, no, they asked for tax returns in general (check out the image of the list they sent)

Ok because mine specifically talks about the 2014 tax return. They also gave me a list of random things similar to yours but above everything they said that I didn't send the 2014 tax return and that they want that. Another problem I have is that on one of the W2 forms my wife doesnt have an M on it she has S. Her emplyeer made a mistake and didn't put her down as married. That same employer later on fixed that mistake and in the 2014 W2 she is down as M. Does anyone think It's a problem? Should I try to contact her past emplyer and have then write us a letter saying that they made a mistake?

That is the reason that I'm telling you to get transcripts of tax returns. The W-2 are only for estimated taxes the real tax information goes into thet tax return transcripts

I understand that but in my RFE they specifically asked for the W2.. So even if I send the transcripts I need to send the W2s..

Hello Everyone!

i have been reading this forum anonymously long time and want to share my experience.

i submit i751 jointly back in December 2014, got confirmation letter in January. in March i had biometric appointments and in April i got the second invitation for biometrics because FBI could not read my fingerprints.

From this time i did not hear anything from them until i decided to call them on Tuesday Sep 15 to find out my status. they helped me to place request to Vermont to clarify on what stage is my papers. And what you think i got today????.....Letter to provide more evidence. To be exact these agency wants me proof that i did not have any criminal background, because FBI still could not clear my fingerprints!!!! They want me to go to local police department or whenever to get confirmation. and it must be done form each state i ever lived otherwise they need explanation letter.

Here is my unique story, think it might help someone and morally support those who has as me difficult time.

P.S. my case was filled in Vermont, not transfered. no any RFE notifications i recieved by email or phone.

I was also wondering about that. I was looking at our 2013 tax return and one of my husband's W-2 states his old address from way before we even met and my student 1098 form states my old address. I believe I changed it at school records but they still used my old address..We didn't even think about that when we were filing . I wonder if it may cause us any trouble

The RFE due date is till December 5th. Does it mean that even if I send them new evidence , they might take their time until December ? lol

From what I've heard the USCIS is pretty good at responding to RFE quickly as long as they are satisfied with the received evidence. Good luck!

They are asking for W2 forms and any other supporting evidence. I think that the first time we forgot to send copies of driver's licenses, so now I can send those. I'm planning of sending: copies of driver's licenses, joint bank account statements, credit card statements, cable bills, life insurance policy, auto policy, auto lease, some postcards, restaurant bills, show tickets, W2 forms, IRS official tax return transcript. Unfortunately, we do not have any other bills under our names, because we live in my uncle's house and we share utilities together. Hopefully, everything will be over soon

BTW no text or online update on my case.

Just got a text message and checked online status. New card production was ordered on 9/17. Text message came from 540 area code. I was mentally prepared for an RFE as I did not bother submitting tax returns. However my other evidence were overwhelming which may have prevented an RFE.

Hi all, I have a question about tax returns vs transcripts. I saw some people are requesting transcripts from the IRS. I was under the impression I send the returns (25-50 pgs) which is what i have from Turbotax/H&R Block. Did everyone request something separate from the IRS to include? Or are my returns I have ok?
