We haven't traveled at all we don't have the money to do that.. We have an apartment lease, life insurance that I got last month, ID's and DL's with same address, 2013/2014 tax return, bank statements for 2013/2014/2015, joint phone bill from verizon for 2014. I don't think I have anything else.

Ok, well at the least provide all that you can and write a letter stating that you haven't provided property deeds because you have none. You can't provide car titles because your wife doesn't drive. You can't provide travel plans because you do not have the financial means to. I think where there is a lack of evidence, one would want an explanation as to why. That would be your best beat.

I just noticed you didn't mention credit cards. If you have those send your joint credit card statements.

I had 401k plan when I worked for comcast and my wife is a beneficiary I think I can get the transcripts for that. I honestly think I got this RFE because of the 2014 tax return, it says it on the notice that I just sent the 2013 tax return and it wasn't enough and in edition they said that I should send more documentation to support the marriage.


Does anyone here has fidelity 401k plan? Do you know how to get that info online?

I had 401k plan when I worked for comcast and my wife is a beneficiary I think I can get the transcripts for that. I honestly think I got this RFE because of the 2014 tax return, it says it on the notice that I just sent the 2013 tax return and it wasn't enough and in edition they said that I should send more documentation to support the marriage.

That's good news. Also from looking at past applicants who have received RFE notices once they responded they were approved soon after!

Yea that's what I am seeing too but I don't want to mess anything up maybe I should hire a lawyer so they could look over my stuff just to make sure, I rather be safe than sorry.

From my experience you're more likely to find the same or better information here than from a lawyer :)

However, depending on your capability of gathering that information the lawyer might help...

At the end of the day the worse thing that could happen is a 2nd RFE or an interview where you just explain your reasons for lack of evidence again and the IO gets assurance that your valid marriage is valid. Obviously more waiting involved.

I monitor my 401k through www.verisightgroup.com. If you have the same 401k provider you can create an account online and make changes to your 401k plan and add/change beneficiaries. When I submitted my ROC package I simply printed a print screen from verisight.

Yea I got a print screen of my 401K that I added my wife to the plan but wanted to get like a statement or an account summary that shows the whole account with her name on it but couldn't find that online, maybe I should call them.

So my wife doesn't have a driving license so she can't be on the car insurance or buy a car with me. Also we never bought any property and don't have any loans.

you can add your wise to the vehicle title even if she doesn't have DL. She doesn't have to have DL in order to own a vehicle. She can also be added to the insurance card as a non driver. good luck!

I did receive an RFE too, dated September 10, 2015.

Mine is a waiver and i provided every documentation i could possibly provide. I'll go ahead and send everything I've got to them again.

01/09/2013 (Day 20) - RFE notification via email on I-485
01/15/2013 (Day 26) - RFE received via mail
01/28/2013 (Day 39) - RFE sent to NBC, Lee's Summit, MO
02/01/2013 (Day 43) - RFE response review on I-485
02/12/2013 (Day 54) - Testing and Interview (ready for interview scheduling)
02/19/2013 (Day 61) - Received emails on approval of travel document and EAD but not mailed yet
02/25/2013 (Day 67) - Email notification that interview is scheduled for March 27th
02/28/2013 (Day 70) - EAD card received in the mail
03/27/2013 (Day 97) - Interview day and PR approved on the spot!!! Waiting for card in mail . . .

01/13/2015 Day (3) - Received notification of receipt

03/12/2015 Day (61) - Biometrics done

08/17/2015 Day (219) - Received notice saying case transferred from VSC to CSC

09/14/2015 Day (247) - RFE received via mail

10/02/2015 Day (265) - Responded to RFE

01/14/2016 Day (369) - Interview scheduled which I postponed

03/23/2016 Day (438) - Interview was held and was approved

04/14/2016 Day (458) - Received email and text notification of card being produced

04/19/2016 Day (463) - Received email and text saying card has been mailed to me

04/21/2016 Day (465) - Green Card received in the mail

Sorry, brother, was not trying to ignore you, but i just have no ideas about an RFE and how to respond to them.

I always use a lawyer for all these things and that is what my plan is in an event i receive an RFE. I just do not have the time or the confidence to do all these things on my own.

But make sure you obtain the tax transcripts from IRS.
