I received my approval from my local office without an interview. I think because VSC has such a work load that cannot be handled by them, they try to distribute some of the applicants to CSC and local offices. Hopefully your local office processes fast and you will get your approval(not interview) notice in the mail soon:)

When did you get transferred and when did you get approved if I may ask?

I just called the 1800 automated service and the service said that "the case has been transferred to St. Albans Vermont for further processing"

#######?

These guys are just keeping everyone in utter darkness.

has anyone else tried calling the 1-800 automated service to listen to what they say?

Same message for my receipt number.

From what I have read elsewhere, it seems there are 2 places in Vermont that USCIS work on cases. So in reality, nothing seems to have changed.

Frustrating.

When did you get transferred and when did you get approved if I may ask?

I don't know when I got transferred since that was not updated on my case page, nor I received a notice. I got approved on 08/06, but still no GC. All I know is I got a letter from my local office with the approval notice:), this is all I care for LOL

Also I submitted a service request 2-3 weeks prior to my approval and got the generic response that they cannot provide me with a timeline of the case and on 08/06 we got the good news:)

I think your transfer is different guys since the jurisdiction is now going to be CSC, as for me I think it was sent to the local office but the jurisdiction was still under VSC.

Hopefully approvals start coming in soon:)

Lol. Seems like this whole transfer thing is a hoax then.

Cases just got sent to another St. Albans office where some other workers might be getting engaged on this gargantuan task.

I'm sorry, either youre being very vague or I its me not understanding what youre saying. So you filed your papers when? Dec, Jan, Fab? Then you got transferred and after 2 weeks you got an approval letter? Thats what happened?

I am/was a Nov filer. In the end of July I submitted a service request at my local office they said my paperwork was at VSC, about 2-3 weeks later I received a letter from USCIS from my local office with an approval. I believe my paperwork was transferred after I submitted the request, but was never notified about it

I didn't bother checking my case status, until today and this is what it says:

"On August 19, 2015, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EAC##########, at your local office."
