Yes maybe we still have a chance of getting a RFE. But I believe our cases are under investigation already.

I guess it takes one to two months to go over our applications, verify of our documents and so on.

Not seeing approvals for January does not mean our cases are not processed yet.

That's not how it works; nobody will have touched your case since it was initially inspected for errors before acceptance. Only when the huge backlog is cleared will it be looked at, and only then will it be either approved or an RFE will be sent out. They do not take months "to go over" applications; I doubt they take more than 30 minutes when they get around to it.

I just read someone say that VSC is currently processing August applications, but other threads for September and october filing show that people are being approved for the Sep and october filing timeframe. can someone shed some light on that

That was me saying August and I got that info from Visa Journey's processing times section of the website (attached a link). I hope you're right and the VJ estimate is wrong because it would be awesome if they were months further than it says!!!

You should receive notice in the mail about your case/application acceptance which will also be the same notice extending your GC for another year! Let us know when you mail your packet so we can add your info to the April filers list. Good luck.

eh guys... I never revieved any NOA which extends my green card, I sent off application and all I got was the Biometrics appointment.

Can you please explain how this december filer (below) got an interview letter in Febrauary ?

Interview letter means they looked into his december filed case in February.

In febraury we did not see even November approvals at least in this site.

First of all, like yourself they are in the California bracket, which immediately leapfrogs them/you ahead. Second of all, I'm not going to comment on individual cases because I have absolutely no idea of their circumstances and it's not right to comment. But on a hypothetical case, there's always anomalies; there are always people with straight-forward cases that are inexplicably placed, say, at the top of piles, just as unfortunately there are people with straight-forward cases that are left floundering for months after the majority in their 'month' have been approved. To try and extrapolate from the 'top of piles' example that this means all cases are viewed and reviewed throughout the entire duration/months is simply incorrect; as said, they simply do not work like that. It's obvious you're not going to budge on what you deem is correct. Well, good luck with that and hopefully your case reaches the top of the pile soon.
