I-751 January 2015 Filers

Bio appointment last Friday in Denver was super quick. In and out in less than 5 minutes. They wanted to see ID (just brought my drivers license) and my greencard as well. Good luck everyone!

Lucky you. I did my biometrics on March 16 and I waited little more than half hour! Lots of people! Hope we have good news soon. ALL of us!

I have added my details. I haven't been on for a while, but given how long it's been since my biometrics (Feb 26) I was getting worried. USCIS "Check My Case" doesn't recognize me at all. *sigh*

It makes me feel a little more relieved (though bad for you guys) that nobody else seems to have been approved yet. As long as it gets done by September (when I'm travelling to Europe for a wedding) I'm fine. I might mosey on over to the December filers to see if any of those have been approved.

Interestingly enough, nobody at my place of work has said anything about my GC expiration (which was Feb). I would have thought somebody would have flagged it and chased it up. Looking forward to seeing a sudden rush of approvals for y'all.

My original biometrics were for March 25, I couldn't make that so sent away for a new appointment, got a new date of April 16, however I went down to the biometrics place here in Miami today April 6th to see if I could be seen and was in and out in 5 mins. happy days! Biometrics are done!

From what I see an RFE would be issued within two months if any ?

I dont assume anything anymore. With my AOS, they sent me 2 RFEs during the 11 months I waited for the AOS process. First they wanted to see the 2011 tax returns (we sent it right away). Couple months later they sent another RFE stating they wanted to see a police good conduct certificate issued by the county police department. A good conduct certificate! Never heard that was a required paper for AOS. They just needed to buy more time to keep delaying the process.

I'm pretty sure this time they would like to get a good conduct certificate of our pets. I have that ready just in case.

RFEs are timeless! They can be issued anywhere within the process. Until you've been approved or received the benefit you applied for, don't assume anything in other-words you are not RFE proof until approved.

I actually would assume differently - that until approvals start being issued for your service center and month and you actually get your case approved, you could get an RFE, i.e. you'd be more likely to receive around the time of approvals beginning to be issued.

As it stands now, it is unlikely anyone has even looked at your case.

Yes maybe we still have a chance of getting a RFE. But I believe our cases are under investigation already.

I guess it takes one to two months to go over our applications, verify of our documents and so on.

Not seeing approvals for January does not mean our cases are not processed yet.

I have been checking the processing time in the USCIS webpage and for CSC I-751 application, it looks like in end of January, they were just reviewing July 2014 cases

Looks like as of today CSC is processing applications dated October 8 and VSC applications from August 9. Ugh. So that still puts us a few months away - at least 3 months it looks like?

I am new to these forums with a jan 16th filing date at VSC. Below are my timelines

Jan 15th package sent via overnight

Jan 16th package received

Jan 21st check cashed

Jan 26th NOA received

April 13th biometrics scheduled

April 9th biometrics early walkin

I just read someone say that VSC is currently processing August applications, but other threads for September and october filing show that people are being approved for the Sep and october filing timeframe. can someone shed some light on that
