Hi,

I read so many guides and browsed the forum but I can't find anything regarding this.
I am an permanent resident and will get my citizenship in 3 month.

I own a couple of small businesses and was wondering if there is any way for me to hire my brother that lives in Sweden.
Can it be done? Is it hard?

Please, help me!
I would appreciate it a lot!

Unless your brother has some skill that is required by your small business that you can't find a US person for it is unlikely that you can do this or everyone would open up a business to shortcut the long wait for siblings.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

What sort of job? Is it skilled labour? Does your brother possess a skill that is unavailable in the US?

April 15, 2014 APPROVED. Wait for oath ceremony

Waited...

September 29, 2015 - sent letter to senator.

October 16, 2015 - US Citizen

Work Visas are handled by immigration lawyers.

Is it possible, of course, likely I have no idea from the very limited information you supplied.

Wow. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Had no idea there were so many helpful people in this forum.

The businesses I have are in sales, marketing and IT. But all are online companies. But of course it does require a lot of paper work customer service etc.

and a lot of programming skills.

Um....in other words, dead end huh?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
