Thank you....you put my mind at ease...I will just wait. It didnt help that he didnt like me calling on Skype...

Good! :dancing:

They only had a sentence on a single letter to review for mine so i'm guessing the review took 10 seconds. Also, my Senator has been contacting them -- I don't think it made a difference though because I saw Nov. 12th Checklists getting CC yesterday.

I was checking the online portal every 1-3 hours yesterday and took a screen shot when I saw the N/A to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I also logged out and in and had my mom check what I was seeing was real.

Hello all!

Just received email (finally after waiting 2.5 months) .

They have no record that the approval from California Service center was ever received!

They want a scan of the I-797 approval notice emailed to nvcresearch@state.gov.

I sent it.

I'm very disappointed! My fiancé keeps asking how long. I originally thought from when the original petition was approved that this process would be at the interview stage by November or December 2014.

I'm very disappointed.

Like a friend of mine keeps saying about a lot of things, they just don't care... I can think of stronger expressions!

JimJim,

Hey Jim,

Sorry to hear you're not impressed with this 'broken' system. We would better understand your frustrations if you filled out your timeline.

I read somewhere on here that as of Jan 12 the NVC is going to be changing some processes....not sure which ones but hopefully its everything from their phone system to case complete. Keeping my fingers crossed.

 they're awful aren't they?! I had to go to the emergency room once because I couldn't stop one. I too have PTSD and i'm sorry to hear it's not just me.

Yup Post-traumatic Stress Disorder is what we have and nothing will take it away but our loved ones and some time for our brains to leave the trauma behind!

GROUP HUG! big-hug-smiley-face.gif

I could just cry..I called NVC waited 45 minutes to get Arthur ...got the dang 60 day spiel. He says the documents havent been reviewed and that I HAVE to give it the 60 days ! I also asked him how long is it between review and CC showing up in his computer and he stated 2 -3 days.

Don't be sad the shmuck doesn't know what he's talking about! A rep said the same thing to me but I thought nah and called an hour or two later and all was good, we had our CC. Don't believe what they say you know better than that girl. Let's say it does take 3 days, look how far you have come. t5063.gif

Thank you....you put my mind at ease...I will just wait. It didnt help that he didnt like me calling on Skype...

graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread. :D

I think they can't be as stupid as they seem I think they do these things on purpose to trip you up and make you wait longer than you should. So it's best when these things happen is to just bite the bullet and send what ever they ask as soon as possible. You actually win time this way, since some try to dispute this and wind up wasting more time but then others are super lucky and find justice, it's a toss up like the slots in Vegas you just never know and the odds are against you.

I'll be praying the rest of your journey is a smooth one my friend and that God blesses you with much love and happiness. :)smileys-praying-931534.gif

Thank you, thank you forgot to ask Jim to please fill out his time line to better help in the future and help others coming to this torture. Also you can add your time line copy and paste if you wish by adding it to your Signature. Just in case you don't know go to your ID upper right side of this page click on the down arrow go to settings then on the left side column of the page you will see Signature copy and paste there so it shows up when you post. Will be very helpful, ty in advance. :D

Thank you Soloenta, you always know how to me feel better. I am thinking inthe eternity of a month and the possibility of another checklist. :-(

I know my sweet precious friend exactly how you feel and it's not easy, not by a long shot to try to stay positive. Immigration has used the Pavlovian fear conditioning on us but you have to try at least to fight it. Try a hobby I know ll you want to do is it and stare at a wall or the screen but it doesn't do any good believe me hahahaha been doing it for months now. I will be praying hard and long you don't get a Checklist but you do the same. You have to stay strong for many reasons including your own health. t5063.gif

How many check list do you have? And your very welcome I just wish I could do more.

My friend try to think this,

1. You don't come from a high fraud country.

2. Spain is friends with the USA.

3. Accents are sexy hehehee makes it easier!

4. They can't hold you much longer than this month then CC

5. Let's say you get a checklist, that would be it no more Checklists they give you an interview

and your Visa then POE and happiness.

6. But that wont happen.

7. Because Soloenta is a psychic ;).

8. I will be here for you until you get out of jail and that's a promise and if you want my e-mail I'll give it to you, to make sure :D.

No hay mal que dure cien años ni cuerpo que lo reciste! There is no evil that lasts a hundred years nor body that can withstand it! :D Somethings got to give!

The timeline page does not show the correct lock box locations! Mine was sent to Texas lock box for I-129f, following the latest instructions available.

And I never said I was not impressed with the broken system. I said I am disappointed.

My timeline has been filled in completely from the beginning. It is linked to my member number. Of course it does not allow the correct information to be entered, such as the Texas lock box.

The line for the type of visa has several types of visas in a drop down box, but not K-1. One must start typing K-1 to get that choice.

So, whose system is broken?

Jim
