I just got confirmation from Joyce on the phone that my case is complete and that they are waiting for an interview date... I really hope I get a February interview but above all i'm just happy to be done with NVC!

To my dear friends on this board, there were days when I honestly thought I couldn't deal with this process anymore but you helped me more than you'll ever know.

I just got confirmation from Joyce on the phone that my case is complete and that they are waiting for an interview date... I really hope I get a February interview but above all i'm just happy to be done with NVC!

Hi my dear VJ friends!

I'm preparing everything (and myself) for my interview, but I wanted to pass by to wish good luck to all of you who are waiting for a CC, struggling with a checklist, waiting for an interview date and suffering with an AP.

This whole process is a mental nerve breakdown and I'm so thankful to our dear Soloenta to make this thread possible and keeping it alive. We really need to support each other even with "only" words or prayers.

God bless you all and feel me good thoughts and prayers to you!

You don't need it my sweet friend but I'm praying all goes smoothly for you at the interview. Just bat those lashes and smile hehehee and I'm sure the Co if a man will go bonkers and forget anything and everything hahaa J/K you have nothing to worry about but will be praying all goes well anyway.

I love California, though i've only been to San Diego. Unfortunately, as someone in academia, I will end up wherever there's a job opening. California schools will be at the top of my list for jobs searches though!! That's if NVC doesn't ruin my chances of getting my doctorate

I'm hoping the hubby won't have to travel as much when we're finally there as they have said more work might open up near our home. That being said, i'm going to be knee deep in my own work for the next year. So realistically, as long as we can spend weekends together I will be happy.

I had a root canal done by a specialist two weeks ago and it was all fine until today, now it feels like i'm getting toothache. Hopefully it's just tension in my jaw from the stress.

Your Doctorate will come just as the Visa make take a little longer but your all good. Brilliance never dies nor can it be stopped!

Great attitude, I would feel the same way as long as we have the weekends I would be fine for a while until it could be daily.

OMG I had a Root Canal also about 3 to 4 months ago and it hurts a little from day one until today. But I do also think it's stress related. I did have one a few years ago that kept hurting (tolerable) for 6 months after the procedure but not like it hurt before it, so who the heck knows. ......... <-------- I think Jay Leno became a Dentist.

Just enjoy the moment, I'm the same way you will have plenty of time to worry and you will do just fine at the interview they ask questions about your husband and you so what can go wrong. I know it's not easy but try to relax.

Is it pointless to call if you don't have the 3 NAs ? I would call every day if I had the 3 NAs but I don't as of yet .It is such a loooong stressful wait on the phone with NVC just to be disappointed. I am a big baby ..I end up depressed and crying from frustration .I am so scared of another checklist and this is not good.We are all desperate for our CC but I feel like such a wienie sometimes.It is so much easier for me to be supportive of others but when it comes to myself I fall short.
