UGGGGGGGHHHHHHH why does every day feel like a month ??? It takes nearly 9 1/2 months to have a baby and a year plus to get a Visa to reunite family...somethings wrong here

I so agree thank God you come from a little to zero fraud country and I would start calling on Monday your very close to your CC I'm praying hard all goes well and you can get your Feb interview and if not you can e-mail then and request an earlier date.

POE was done yesterday at the thousand island bridge. It was a piece of cake, thanks everyone and thanks vj for all the valuable info that helped us each step of the way. I'm so glad that I don't need to deal with uscis or NVC for the next 9.5 years or so!

Oh dear, I just saw that your husband was assigned an interview date next month! Congratulations and a belated, happy new year to you! I barely make it on VJ anymore after my POE, running errands and all that But still checking on you guys as promised

So glad you don't have to wait for the interview too long and that you are finally done with NVC! Way to start the new year. You and your hubs will be reunited soon

Awww thank you so much my angel for coming back to check on us and Happy belated New Year to you to. I can only imagine how things change once everything is normal so I for one understand, Samreen is home now and so is MSC hehee forgot her ID I think but we are getting there waiting on a few more stragglers .

Please keep us in your prayers EOC, SharksBelow, AmeriDutch, BRosa, Maria&Abdo, Natasha&Noor, Maharosa, nicholemariev, and that none of us are put on AP, God willing.

Don't be sad start calling you and AmeriDutch tomorrow Monday your very, very close so call and let us know . Don't be upset it no news on the first, second or third call. I called twice on the third try and I got CC so don't be discouraged.

Currently waiting for my interview date, once I get that I can start tying up lose ends here, get time off for interview and finally give my two week notice. End seems very close yet so far!

Every step has it's wait and difficult moments we have our interview date and now the worry about the interview and AP. I pray 2015 will be a great year for us all and that we will be untied with our loved ones very, very soon. Pray for all of us and specially for those in AP that they get their Visa's soon.

Soloenta....do you think it is too early to call being we had Christmas and New Years Holidays in the end of our 60 days for checklist ? I am so tired of the disappointment . We are on day 53....what do you think ?

I called NVC...was told to give it a few more days .I asked if the holidays pushed the 60 day review time out further(dumb question) but wanted to see what his response would be. He said...it was only two days so not by much. I told him our 60 days was up on the 12th ...when should I call back? He told me give it a couple of days or I was welcome to call back on the 12th lol. I tried ...he was polite and nice but I know that he didnt look very hard into the case because his immediate response was...we received your documents on Nov 14th and then the 60 day speeeel .

At least he didnt have bad news...such as another checklist.

Aww thanks, Soloenta. I'm too scared to call, I really cannot handle them telling me bad news. No news I can deal with at the moment, but not bad news.

I will have the husband call closer to Friday if we don't see an N/A before. I will also keep an eye on AmeriDutch.

I hope so but I don't see it coming until next week, somehow. All I wanted was a February interview but I don't think that will happen since they slowed down

No not to early please call and let us know, it will happen in the next couple of days for sure.

Call around 11 their time if no good news then same day in the evening around 7 their time do this every day don't listen to the. Might even get your interview date the same day who knows. Am praying it's today or tomorrow.

Alright ladies and gentlemen...

So we have just received the great news that they have accepted our expedite request!!

We just received word today from our embassy and confirmed it with NVC. The NVC rep stated that all paperwork will head off (hopefully) by the end of this week. I have no clue what that means in terms of time line but that at least saves me big time with the job - let's hope they will wait until paperwork and everything goes by pretty quickly - now must do my research and find out the time line I'll be waiting until hubby gets the interview confirmed.

I can't thank everyone enough - I want to say that I did bust my butt and made sure all information and data was given before I submitted. I don't go down easy and I will try anything to save my family financial difficulties. Thank God is all I can say and can think about right now. I'm in shock to be honest and I don't even believe it myself.

...Anyone know how (average) time an approved expedite request gets sent over to the embassy? Going to go through time lines tomorrow to find a good average.

Thank you for everyone's prayers - I pray for everyone else out there waiting to hear back from NVC and patiently waiting to reconnect with their loved ones.

ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!! A CHECKLIST?!?!?!!?!

Dang it!!!! After nagging my hubby to death about making sure all and any forms he filled in were done properly and to check and double check, we received a checklist on Dec 22/14 because "I" forgot to put a date by one of the signatures!!!!

*smacks self in the forehead* DOH!!!!

Can't believe we have to wait another 60 days because I had a blonde moment! (no offence to blondes)
