Does anyone know about ...if in AP....will they give visa issue before police clearance expires?? Or do they just keep us waiting, and make us pay to get another one, and medical will expire too...

I remember seeing rare cases where people on very extended AP were requested to submit a new PCC after 12 months, and then they were made o wait some more.

Hopefully, you'll see ISSUED a lot sooner than that.

Is NVC open today? I've been calling, but keep getting a message that says that 'customer service representatives are not available, please call back later' Is this a new thing instead of the busy signal or what?

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

Hello to all my wonderful VJ peoples. Just checking in on everyone. Congrats to everyone that got CC, interview dates, and approved visas :) I'm so happy for all of you. We are still impatiently waiting our 60 days for the checklist items and hope to hear something before the end of February. The only problem we're having now is trying to decide if I should go visit for our 2nd wedding anniversary on March 21st or if I should wait to go for his interview, whenever that will be. Praying this all ends soon for everyone on here. I will light a candle tonight and pray for all of you. Have a blessed night ~hugs~

I left it blank. Because your spouse is already counted in a, you don't want to double count her, but at the same time your spouse is not zero, so I left it blank. Someone else said you should put zero. At the end, you will have to make the executive decision :D

Whatever you do, DO NOT DOUBLE COUNT YOUR SPOUSE!

Let me put it to you this way, just imagine these idiots driving to and from work in a blizzard. If they lose documents feet away in good light and a relatively small area can you imagine in a blizzard? It would take months for NVC to find them. :D So two days isn't so bad then CC. :Dgraphics-love-909133.gif

If you are sponsoring your spouse (included on line a) then you put 0 on b for your spouse. That's how I filled it out.

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions
