Hi everyone!! Just a quick post to say: the nightmare is over!!

Yesterday I had my POE at the LAX, and it was smooth, despite the huge line I had to pass through. Later I'll make a review about it. But I wanna give you guys hope that IT WORTH IT!!!!!! It's so good to know that I don't need facetime, Skype, email or any eletronical device to see my husband!! I'm unpacking right now, but I stopped to say hi and tell you all who are still passing throught it: hang in there!! The reward is amazing!!

:)

Soloenta my dear, my thoughts are always with you...soon it's your time to have this joy!

yea , tring to understand all the pages from every thing is very complicated to me..............I study and watch things as much as possible to understand the process (which seems easy enough ) but as i do each step everything has issues and complications............... i dont understand why as much moneys is paid to these that they dont have it easily organized .or simplified...... i cant even get in a thing to pay them ............. and then they say it will take longer if you mail it in,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i just dont get this ........... i just want this all over .......and im being very mild how irritating this all has been since i meant my husband ..........we have gone thru tons of things to get this process over and to understand it all.............. all in the name of love and we keep pushing thru .....................money money money and then paper paper paper ....... more irritations loophole after loop,,, border people blocks and on it goes ...on and on (rude officers at times tearing care apart cause he said i was hiding something (in a caregiver i help people i dont use booze or drugs )I might say a scripture.......and we are 20 miles apart ...............man when i get him home i want to hide for the rest of my life................i have never hated some thing so much and yet i keep just pushing in hopes to figure and make it all finished .......................... horrible experiences for anyone............... why is that so............i question a man who came to our country in 1949 and asked him ....? what did you pay in those days .............oh he said I only needed to buy a passport..................... what the heck happened ............... then you hear all these people who can cross the border and come ...........Im for them cause this is aweful .............but man ............. why do we have to go thru so much .............. .... i want it changed ...........to their way........ but i want to be legal........................... but its horrible on relationships ........................oh well ,,,,,,i could probably ... go on all day............cause of the hurts that this has done to our relationship..........but i need to figure more out............how to get thru the next step.........and even how to post on these forums (which one and how to read the answers and ect ....... cant hardly figure it out either .................. just a lady who would like some peace of mind with out all this any more .

hang in there! you must try to be positive. there are many others on this forum that have waited 10 to 12 months for a NOA2!!! we're here for each other, that's why we joined. times will be tough and you will curse this process more than once or twice...we all have and its natural. be there for each other and pick each other up. the process is long and arduous , its not meant to be a cake walk, for if it was there'd only one type of person....AMERICAN instead of the wanna be's. think of your spouse and the love the two of you share.... ...and when going gets tough that's where we come in here in the support and rant thread....thanks soloenta for creating this place!!!

Just realized my daughter's IV pack has our marriage cert together with all the required documents, any idea if this is an "RFE IN VIEW"? I did put it in there coz it was a requirement at uscis level... please tell me is no problem.. #FingerCrossed..

First graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread and on your IV, so you sent your daughter's and wife's IV in? Did you put any copies with your wife's IV? I'm not an expert but I don't think it would matter much and if you just sent them in I would send copies of all the documents for your wife's case. Better to be safe than sorry and if not mistaken you only have to send copies now and take the originals to the interview. It doesn't matter if you send more information that what was asked they will just ignore it, less then you have a problem. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Uuuuugh, I thought EP was supposed to be FASTER. I sent in IV and AOS packets two weeks ago via EP. STILL no scan date and the reps keep saying 'wait a week, wait a week' no matter how long it's been--they said this after one week and two weeks. If my email didn't get through for some reason, then I've lost two weeks already. If my email DID get through and they're just taking forever, then sending it in would set me back.

I thought NVC was supposed to be the FAST stage!

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

I thought NVC was supposed to be the FAST stage!

I thought so too, now looking back I appreciate the USCIS stage much more. I had an RFE and it took 2 weeks to review it and send me the approval. NVC takes 2 months to review anything, it's ridiculous.

NVC is a nightmare. I would be so happy to quit this whole process but I have no other choices.

It was for a long time then the flood came in and ever since they are slow but I think EP is much faster than sending it in so just call every once in a while and soon you will have your answer. :Dt5063.gif

OMG WHAT IDIOTS, why do they employ these morons in the first place if they are good for nothing. Did you talk to a supervisor, was this fixed OMG they could drive a saint to murder. Really enough is enough someone needs to fix this travesty! t2615.gif This is just ridiculous kurby2.gifCan't wait to see this has been fixed! t5063.gif

The worst part is that they scheduled my hubby's appointment for 2/23/15!!! Why does it take a month to do this?!? This is so frustrating! I did contact my local congresswoman's office and I will hopefully hear back from them this week with what the Embassy will do...

Actually a month is nothing they can take months if they want and I saw a post a very long time ago that posted it took 18 months in AP before they received their second interview. So your blessed and I do hope your Congresswoman will help you. No one helped me not my Senator or Congresswoman! Very frustrating to say the least and I'll be praying everyone in despair will find great news soon. :)smileys-praying-931534.gif
