Congrats!!

Good MORNING ALL
I JUST CALLED NVC AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT MY CASE WAS CC ON JAN16 SO HAPPY FOR NOT HAVING A CHECKLIST BY THE WAY MY SCAN DATE WAS NOV21st NOW WAITING ON MY INTERVIEW DATE??????

Oh no!! I'm sooo sorry!! When was the second date scheduled. Way to go at being so optimistic and finding that the cup is half full. It is disheartening, but you'll pull through this. You have plenty of records to show that you guys are truly together and that you plan on staying together :)

I wish you all the best and hope for stress free second interview. You are in my prayers!!

Well my hubby had his interview today. We were put in AP with a second date scheduled. Even with 25 pages of emails and 23 pages of Fb chats plus 15 what's app chats pages, 6 yrs together, 4 visits, plus a medical expedite with doctors documentation, They still want more emails and personal cards with postmarked envelope. First of all who uses snail mail anymore? Second of all what guy sees envelopes? Luckily for us we actually do send each other cards. And he has 11 cards that I've sent him over the years but only 4 postmarked ones and all those envelopes are from 2011.
Usually when I send a card it's with a pkg. Im ok
just frustrated with these idiotic Ppl and their stupid requests!
I immediately thanked God for his mercies. Because for whatever reason, this is part of His plan

You will get 1 checklist and it will be confusing but if it is just talking about assets and that the CO will make the final judgement. It will go on to say if you don't think you have enough assets to cover you then you should resubmit a new AOS form with co-sponsors. If you are above the poverty line and have liquidable assets (they can be turned into cash within 1 year) then you are fine and the CO will accept with no issues. (only if you are right on the border line is when they have some questions).

Good Luck!!

Thanks Soloenta:) We went through our papers 10x to check everything, even reopened sealed envelope to check it again  ....Hoping we didn`t make any mistake. Whatsoever we will get "checklist" because we are trying to use our assets. Hope that will be the only one and the embassy will accept assets...huh.

Both packages sent together this morning. WHOO a relief for a few days before I start stressing again! So funny that I read in almost all cases one spouse is always stressed and the other calm. My husband is just like "it'll be fine" "few more days" "just wait til Monday" and I'm all like :ranting::ranting::ranting::crying::crying::crying: . Will be enjoying taking a break from all the preparations and just pray everything was done correctly!

Thank you!! They rescheduled us for March so it's not that far away. I think the good Lord for that. What bothers me is there's really no reason for this. No red flags. She asked him a total of 31 questions! And on top of that she kept asking again and again and again. I happened to donate eyeglasses and lenses to out reach programs in ghana and she kept asking him what what have you donated? Have you ever donated? And she asked him three different times. Why would she keep asking whet he's donated when I am the one with the frames and I'm the one that sends them out there and we are in different countries. It was just stupid the things she concentrated on. And that part frustrates me.

She has questions about my mom and she asked about me and he told her what was wrong with both of us. Which they already know. And he told her I don't want to have the surgery until he is here because I'll need someone to look after mom. Not to mention myself. And she asked him what could you do for her?

Honestly she was just rude. And he told her well I will be the one running her mom to the doctors and to treatments. And he also told her that she now has two broken bones in her foot. Simply because she's fragile. But the woman acted like she didn't understand how him being here could possibly help her or I.

And regardless of the help he still my husband he should be here.

So I am grateful for the March interview but I find it incredibly ridiculous that we didn't even have a red flag for her to grill him the way she did. And then put him in AP and asked Him for personal cards from me with postmarks. You know she was just grasping at straws. Definitely might be a quota they have to fill

Who knows really?!

I trust in God and I know his reasons are best and I know it's all in his time so we will get through this as well. What is 40 more days compared to six years right?

Thanks again. You guys are all so great!

The only question I would have is has anyone been brought back for a second interview and then still put in AP?

Congrats!!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to update you all on my current situation. The DNA package arrive to the US Embassy Dakar on 1/15/16. I received an email today stating that the DNA Center sent them the wrong test!!! I called the DNA center and they told me that they sent the correct test to them. The Embassy told them that they should have received a test for three people...why would they need it when they are fully aware that my hubby is the only one that lives in Senegal and we live in the USA?!?!? Some things I will never understand!

According to Arthur...Feb interviews for Amsterdam are closed and we will get a March interview.....that is not what I wanted to hear but it it is what it is ...ugggh I now have a headache.

But you might be able to get a earlier date God wiling. But I know how you feel I wanted January and missed it by only a few days. :( There is no such thing as help, expedite or earlier interview date at the Cairo Embassy. But you still have hope, just try to enjoy this time with family and friends, you will miss them so much when you in the USA. t5063.gif Oh and the food, it will never taste the way it tastes there. :D

Hahaha I know mine is the same way, don't worry, everything is going to be fine, just relax, ummm WHAT, HUH, HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT :girlwerewolf2xn:

If i got cc on 1/16 when should I start calling to check if I have an interview date???

Not sure but I would say next week and a Rep might be able to tell you better but if they say in two weeks hehehee you call after one week. :D t5063.gif

Your welcome doll and they accept assets no worries. I don't want to scare you but to prepare you, they rejected all three of our AOS mine my fathers and mothers as a joint sponsor. They said things were missing there were not, this doesn't happen to everyone but just be prepare so it wont be a shock if and when it happens to you. I'll be praying your case is smooth as a babies bottom. :Dt5063.gif

I know you do baby, so do I and I'm praying this torture ends soon. Please everyone say a prayer for Natasha & Noor so they can be together soon. [url=http://yoursmiles.org/t-melodrama.php?page=4]http://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/melodrama/t5063

God bless you my friend, my heart goes out to you, this is my worst nightmare and I'll be praying it ends soon for you so you can be reunited. This is proof they put people in AP at random. Others have much less and get approved so this has to be a quota they are filling. God willing this will be over soon. Thank you for your always kind words. Everyone Pls keep us all in your prayers. Especially Natasha and noor!

(F) Soloenta, Thank You for your prayers (L) and wishes! (F)

:goofy: (F) Also, Best Wishes for a speedy recovery! REST REST REST and try to relax! (F) :goofy:

(F)Thank You everyone for your wishes and Prayers!!! (L)(F)

(F) We are also praying for you all to get your ISSUED's SOON!! (F)

Emailied Embassy over concerns for my husband's safety...there's major political violence in his city right now, along with him getting death threats because he's married to me....then yesterday they updated case to AP again, then today they updated again to AP. But they also emailed me today... (note they said that this is in response to a letter dated in October...derrr...i just emailed them last week...)

Dear Ms. XXXXXXXX

Thank you for contacting the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka.

This is in response to your inquiry of October 13, 2014 in which you asked about the status of your immigrant visa case.

We have forwarded your message to the appropriate authority. But, the required additional processing is still pending. We will contact the applicant as soon as the process is complete. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

We recommend that applicants not make any final departure plans until they have their visas in hand.

We hope the above information is helpful.

Kind regards,

Immigrant Visa Unit

(This is pretty much their standard response when you email them with any questions to your AP case...).except this time they said they'd forward to the "appropriate authority" what does this mean? if the embassy isn't the appropriate authority, then who is? Any thoughts?

Your very welcome precious, I'll try to rest but it isn't easy. Got up at 3 pm today was so late and I slept horribly but I bet I'll sleep like a baby tonight. :D

I think it's good news, updated twice means they are looking at your file at least and I think (my opinion) that they have a dept that looks into urgent cases. God willing it's true and you will have your Visa soon. Will be praying for Noor so he will be safe and I ask everyone reading this to also pray for Natasha's husband.

Yes March is good thank God and I think the rude CO was filling her quota and all will be fine. Can't believe the stupid questions they ask but they are supposed to be mean and nasty. I don't understand the need but they don't make any sense. I'm sure the Co went over everything because she had ZERO to ask it's clear your married and love each other so she just needed to bide her time the MOFO, this is all so unnecessary! Second interviews the Charm!

Really enough is enough someone needs to fix this travesty! t2615.gif This is just ridiculous kurby2.gifCan't wait to see this has been fixed! t5063.gif

Hi guys anyone know how long it will take from CC to get interview scheduled??

It depends but I think I've seen your Embassy taking about a month but would go with 30 to 60 days but can be much less. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. :)t5063.gif

We waited so long I guess another month won't make any different. Thanks :)

Might be less than a month Dewheels said they will start giving interviews most likely by next Wednesday so keep the faith it's not much longer so enjoy your time. I don't know what your timeline is since yours isn't filled out. If your in the USA you can start getting ready for your loved one to arrive that way you'll keep busy so time will fly by. If your waiting in Jordan for the interview then you need to prepare even if you know each other like the palm of your hands. Time will fly by. :)
