So I still have a couple of credit cards and an active bank account which shows constant transfer of money into it over the years that I have been away, I guess being away for 10 years does kinda put you on edge. But we do have a firm case that shows that our intent to re-establish domicile is there, relocation specialists, Realtors and such so I think we'll be alright. Tomorrow, sheesh, can't believe it's tomorrow.

Yes I can imagine, plus you never know better be sure than sorry and it's obvious your all set to go. WOW tomorrow, I wont believe it either. You wont need it but I'll be praying all goes well and you get our Visa. What time will the interview be and how many hour difference for Calif? 10 hours? t5063.gif

My lovely dears from around the world.

Well all the stress, the wait, the pangs, the checking online every 2 minutes to see if CEAC is updated (take a breath) the calling, the waiting, the 'your patience is appreciated', the grumpy reps, the late night forum updates, the wait to see if someone two days before your paperwork submission got a CC, the word CC and what it means to us all. The many short forms that we now know (CEAC, CC, AP, DS-260, DS-261).

The word Checklist was the scariest word in our vocabulary.

It now has come to a close for me. We were in the embassy for merely 30 minutes before everything was closed out and the words, 'good luck with your move to Chicago' fell out of the consular officials mouth. Next week we should have his passport/visa in hand and the uphill planning and leaving will commence.

Lots of love to you all. I will try to be online as much as possible these next couple of months as I'm moving and prepping.

I pray that everyone will soon realize, just like I did, God never gives you too much where you can't handle it - whether you think you can't, you can. It may seem like a long time to be without your loved one but when you push harder and finally the wait is over, you will realize you can. This is a temporary pain that will result in happiness in the long run.

I will update my pages accordingly. Good luck! <3

I gave up with nvc it's been 7 months 2 checklists and 67 days waiting for my review :(

Do not give up...I was at day 62 for checklist and got the same story every time I called. It will happen and it may have already and the phone rep just doesn't know yet. I was told that it takes 2-3 days after your review for it to show on the phone reps computer. I believe that they do not go by 60 calendar days but that they only go by scan date. What I mean is that if your scan date is Nov 14 which mine was they consider the 60th day to only be Jan 14th because every time I called they would tell me day 60 was the 14th of Jan . It didn't matter that I counted 60 calendar days to be Jan 12th . I know its just a few extra days but they seem to take every day they can get plus they were closed for 4 days during the holidays.

If your scan date is Nov 21 then you are not yet at the 60 days....you 60 days is Jan 21 st .

None of this matters when you are missing your wife...hang in there ...you will get your CC soon !
