When you called NVC did they tell you when your case was received? A month ago it was running about 28-30 days to get a case # (from date received) but I believe due to holidays they are a little behind so average about 35 recently. That's not scientific, just trend i've seen as I'm waiting also.

Both the "42" and "60" are calender days. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong

I would call I think it makes a difference.

I called around 9 pm, no interview scheduled. Boo. Montreal usually does two rounds and looking by trends second round typically happens between the 12th-14th of the month. I hope I can still get into February interviews, got dejected today when they said they are still waiting for an interview date every step seems forever

Yes ever step does seem like years and yes indeed, they can't give you an earlier interview date without it arriving at the Embassy first. But you called and your just not sitting there wondering so good for you my friend. I'm sure it will arrive soon and as they say "In Gods time" which is perfect timing. I'll be praying you get a Feb date and an early one at that!

Welp. We are scheduled for interview - On Friday!

While hubby was getting his medical done, we got the e-mail from our embassy - super laid back and chilled, just saying we've received your husband's case when would you like to come in for an interview - Wednesday or Friday? Because Wednesday is already packed with plans today we decided to go on Wednesday.

So 9am is our interview, we gotta make a 1 hour drive to the embassy - God willing we will be out of there after midday to eat lunch and celebrate.

I guess the only thing I'm a bit afraid about is the domicile. While I have credit cards a bank account all at my mothers address I'm wondering if that will be enough evidence to prove I have one there...I would think so but you can never be too careful!

Where's Ameridutch? Anyone heard? I am praying they have heard something good!

Hahhaaa your welcome happy I could and big FAT no, sometimes it never changes and when I called it hadn't changed I called in the morning and the rep said the same thing yours did call back when the 60 days are up, In the evening I checked the site and hope Paid didn't change to N/A. I called about 7 pm their time and the lady said CC complete. Paid didn't change until a day or two after. Ummmm it's 10:31 at NVC why not give a call then let me know?

I haven't heard from Ameridutch. I messaged her saying i'm thinking of her but haven't heard back yet. I too am hoping they have heard good news. It's not fair that I got CC and an interview date but they haven't heard (with only one day between scan dates).

I'm here....raises hand ! I called NVC about two hours ago and was told by a very sweet woman that she was sooooooooo sorry that I have not had a review yet. She told me the same thing that the others did but much nicer. Call back in 1 week if I don't hear anything and ask for a Supervisor so they can look into why I haven't been reviewed.Kinda scares me that my file is lost possibley...please noooooo.

Sorry that I haven't replied to your message but I just found it..I don't know what to say but thank you for your kindness and it is not you fault that you got CC and I have not as of yet.

I am happy for you and everyone else but it is hard keeping a happy face when worrying about whats taking so looooong.

Expedite can happen even after you get a checklist - That's what I ended up doing (because of financial issues) - It doesn't mean the CC gets expedited faster, it just means that, if your embassy approves, NVC just pulls your files and ships it over to the embassy and they will of course do the review of your papers and interview.

Thank you, but NVC never sent The file and Have to wait THE 60 days. I emailed the embassy and their response wAs that there was nothing they could but wait for file from NVC. :-(. Oh well, I tried.
