Hello all!

Just received email (finally after waiting 2.5 months) .

They have no record that the approval from California Service center was ever received!

They want a scan of the I-797 approval notice emailed to nvcresearch@state.gov.

I sent it.

I'm very disappointed! My fiancé keeps asking how long. I originally thought from when the original petition was approved that this process would be at the interview stage by November or December 2014.

I'm very disappointed.

Like a friend of mine keeps saying about a lot of things, they just don't care... I can think of stronger expressions!

I should have noted that the email notification came from NVC which I had emailed 3 times in the last several months after receiving the approval notice from California Service Center which said the sent the I-129F Visa application to NVC.

Jim,

I am sorry that you are going through this crazy, unscripted process. We all got to this forum thread because of NVC or USCIS causing delays, distress and other emotions. This process will take everything you can muster to really truly stay sane and keep pressing on. Thankfully it's the fact that we are fighting for our loved ones that also really keeps us sane through this process. It is a broken process Jim, no doubt about that. There is no rhyme or reason why some people fall into the pits of NVC. The only thing we can do here is give you support, words and reassurance that we have, are, or will be (and praying not to be) in the same position as you are.

I just checked the time line for Patnjac - haven't heard about an interview yet. Perhaps just celebrating that they are finally out of NVC (which is what I'm doing this weekend as well!) Trying to stay on here for the fact that it has given me so much moments of peace that if I can provide a little to others I must try!

Hi there im still here lurking. Hubby picked up his packet from embassy yippee! He's foun medical tomorrow. Has anyone heard from S&A?? We've been close together through this whole process and haven't seen anything lately.

So glad to hear from you!!! So things are moving, that's great! All the best to you!And about S&A there's a while I don't hear anything...but what I learned from this website is that if a person is not showing up too much, it means good news (most of the time!)

I think yes you should have mentioned the e-mail to them it's very important but have you called? You need to call both of them ask for a supervisor tell them you have this e-mail and NVC is stating it has NOT arrived. Make sure to call NVC first and make super sure they don't have it sometimes (frequently) reps have no clue what they're saying. Since you can't fill out your time line you can put it in Signature that way anyone can respond with better information for you.

Am I wrong has the whole process been 2.5 months or is that the waiting time for the files to get from USCIS to NVC? I'm praying this will be fixed very soon for you both.

I know getting out of this nightmare brings with it other obligations, it's just part of life so it makes you posting and keeping us in your prayers that much more special. Thank you my sweet beautiful sister, you have no idea how much I have been thinking of you. It seems everything I do I all of a sudden think of you and wonder how your doing. I didn't want to disturb you because I know sometimes it's better to be away from this place so you can have a more of a normal life. Know my beloved friend that you are in my heart and prayers.

Just as good as the weekdays I see it all the time so you just might get it Saturday or Sunday, praying no later than Monday. Plus don't forget the Paid to N/A doesn't always happen, you just never know. Mine did but the day after I called and was told we had CC.

Hello Hello!,

Just to give everyone heads up about S&A - they got a checklist and decided (like many of us) to pull away from the threads. They decided to contact their congressman who actually contacted NVC and aided in getting them through NVC and shipped to the embassy. They are waiting for their interview as far as I know.

They actually contacted their congressman only to explain the terrible time frames and problems throughout this process (not to ask for any help in their own case) it just so happened that their congressman helped during the complaint.

So great news all around! Just thought I'd update!
