Morocco, I-129f re: 'native language'

I posted this on K1 forum and someone suggested I ask here.

Last time I checked I got one reply which said native language would be Arabic.

But isn't the administrative language French?

This is the last thing I have to be sure of before I print the form is this question of

native language. Is French considered to use roman characters? If not, then I can

type that in - the french uses different words. I think it is roman characters, but

some words have marks on them and I don't know if that makes it a different alphabet.

This is the last thing I need before I print the form. Then I make copies of documents,

fill out G-325A, print pictures of us, get new passport photos because mine were made

in December so they are older than 30 days. When Rachid's papers arrive I should be

ready to send the petition package same day or the next.

Thanks!

BT

If I cause offense it is not on purpose, think about that before you take offense. If you feel offended, consider that maybe I'm not talking about you and maybe I accidentally stumbled onto a sore area and do not know. Thank you.

The official language of Morocco is Arabic even though French is prevelant in the country due to the previous French occupation. Use Arabic as it is the 'native' language.

Arabic is the only official language of Morocco. Also, "native language" refers to ones first language, used in the home. So he should write it in Arabic in that spot. You can hand write it, but there are ways you can copy and paste the Arabic as well.

timeline doesn't matter.

Native language = first language!

I thought it would be Arabic I needed, but I wasn't sure.

Now I know why it has to be Arabic.

Totally obvious now.

He did type it for me in Arabic, I will just copy it myself.

It will be good practice for my Arabic writing - I know enough

that it shouldn't be too hard. It'll give me something constructive

to do while I wait for the papers he has to send me.

If I cause offense it is not on purpose, think about that before you take offense. If you feel offended, consider that maybe I'm not talking about you and maybe I accidentally stumbled onto a sore area and do not know. Thank you.
