I don't think you need to request updated letter. If they have the address wrong on file you can correct it at the time of the interview.

Thank you for the reply The emails we have received earlier, the address is correct. Word for word but in this letter they spelled the city wrong, state wrong and the street address instead of 96 they put 86.. I don't know why they did that?? Should I give them a checklist for writing the address incorrectly??

hi does anybody know what's the process in changing your interview location? and how long it takes for the new consulate to accomodate that reuqest? thanks

Not sure where you would want to change the location of interview to? Only Montreal consulate in Canada does interviews for Ir1/Cr1 visa. Your best bet is to contact NVC and the consulate your interview is schedule at.

LOL not a good idea they will ask you for 60 days to correct it.

Hello everyone

Happy new year to all, and congrats to all the recipient who's interviews has been scheduled.

Something weird happened, today i received a letter from NVC to let me know they updated my address. yes I did move but never updated my address with them.

how did they get the information? uncle sam is watching. could it be possible to get it from the post office, since I did i change of address form with them. just curious.

Hello everyone, just got my P4 email today!! I'm curious about this though: it's saying that I should bring the most recent taxes to the interview, but I'm wondering if the transcripts I sent to NVC are what they want, and I wanna know if since this is now 2015, do I have to bring my W2's for this new year? Interview is Feb 4th, but by then I won't have the new taxes made (done), is that ok? Please help, thanks!

That is a generic don't worry bout it It's not tax season. You submitted the most recent. I would however bring 2014 year end W2 or last pay stub that shows it all.

My husband(petitioner) just called nvc they said they scheduled my interview date on Dec 30. My interview date is Feb 9.

I just received my P4 email!! BUT the beneficiary's (husband) address is incorrect. Will this be a problem at the interview or do I need to call NVC and request them to send me another email with the correct address?? I am so stressed!! I don't know what to do.

The address on the p4 email is of no matter. The address on the D-260 is what matters. If it needs updating you do that at interview.

People stop stressin please. Long as your name is correct you get in the embassy. For India you have your P4 letter now schedule your biometrics appointment. No worries okay. It is well.

After 3 x Case Complete emails (25th / 26th and 29th Dec), today I received schedule of interview (Sydney) for 3rd Feb !!!!! Woohoo... almost wanted to book flights...but I curbed my excitement and the logical brain kicked in and I knew it was a massive NO to make a booking without the visa physically in my hand....booking medical on Monday!

Woke up this morning and received our P4 letter, we got our interview scheduled for the 25th of February!!

I am hoping someone can help me with one of the notes in the letter:

"Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of

Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal

income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview."

We are using a joint- sponsor, both the joint sponsor and my wife sent in their AoS with the latest IRS federal income tax return of 2013.

2014 has not been done yet, is it the 2013 tax return one I should bring?

Or what are they asking me for here?

Standard generic letter for those using a co-sponsor. If you sent everything into NVC you are fine If e were in tax season than you would need to update. Nothing to worry about.

I have question about my grandfather case on his p4 patter for document status for correspond instructions the code says 'F'means (document not need to submit)why is that is not supposed to be 'C' means (need to bring to the interview)?

Because for my husband is 'c'.

Ok no one answered me so I'll ask one more time. I found the confirmation for the DS-260 but can't find how to get the confirmation page for the DS-261 can anyone help? Or is the confirmation page for DS-261 the receipt?

Also if not mistaken the Biometrics (Finger printing and pictures) are done at the Embassy the day of and before the interview correct? Thank you in advance.

Hello good people. Am new to this forum and need some helpful information.

How long does one stay before he or she pick up the visa after interview has been succeful and visa approved in Lagos consulate.

Do you mean how long you stay in country? Or how long you have to pick up Visa?

If you mean how log after interview how long they will tell you. Normally for Nigeria its 7 days from interview but some have 2 weeks some longer. The CO will tell you he pickup days to get if there are no issues.

Also you have 6 months from your medical to enter the US before you Visa expires.
