Help plz.. embassy called me saying im gonna need a joint sponsor and that my husband need to fill out the i864 instead of the ez form but what is needed from the joint sponsor.. less than 2 weeks for interview!

The joint sponsor submits exactly what the sponsor does.

Husband will redo his I-864 like advised.

Joint sponsor will submit (and you will have originals for interview)

1. last years taxes completed

2. Must submit at least the most current tax forms or tax transcripts.

3. I-864 completed

4. Last paystub (if they haven't done 2014 yet have their 2014 w2. shows last years wages.

5. Employment Letter.

WOW at least you embassy lets you know ahead of time.

Hello everyone i have question i recived email from us consulate islamabad pakistan (dec 2014) i got everything in hand now which is (jan 2015) i contact us consulate to interview schedule but no reply i did email them by online and by email to but nothing from them its been one month now what should i do ? do i need to contact nvc if yes so can anybuddy explain how help please.

Your case file in the subject immigrant visa case was reviewed recently, you are required to submit the following documents:

• An updated medical examination report from an embassy apporved physician.
• Form DS-260. Form Ds-230 is no longer in use and has been replaced by form DS-260. The form DS-260 is filled out and submitted online only (https://ceac.state.gov/iv/). Instead of submitting a hard copy of the complete form DS-260, the applicant only has to submit a printout of the confirmation page to our office.
• 2 visa photos with white or off-white background (Front View).
• Valid passport.

Once you have all the above items prepared, please send the barcodes to our office via email and confirm in the email that you have prepared all the above items also. Our office will then assign a date and time to have you and your family members come to our office for a new set of finger prints .

Looking at your timeline looks like you are a case that was denied sent back and reaffirmed now you are prepping for 2nd interview?

You have to do exactly what instructions say. Until you do what they ask you will get no interview.

didn't you get case complete from nvc, I thought that was their job. after your case complete i realy don't know

why they are asking for more stuff.

My call finally went through after 50 try's and 1hour and 20minutes on hold for a rep to answer and tell me the best news ever I have an interview date for March,26 in Santodomingo embassy???God is Good can't wait for this to be over???

NVC is only a document gathering center. They accept out documents AOS and IV they do not approve or Deny. That decision is the CO's at embasy

All NVC looks at is does your current income me guidelines. That's why if you are close or under its best to get joint sponsor. Or for many embassies I know for Nigeria your previous year and current has to be at or above guideline not just current like you hear so many say.

So yes NVC can case compete you some get in Interview letter they may need joint sponsor when it's obvious you need joint sponsor.

They are lucky they have a embassy that tells them and they aren't surprised at interview and get put in AP.

Is the DS-2001 Application of readiness still required to send the Embassy even after recieving the date of interview?

There's nothing you need to send to embassy about anything. NVC sends your casefile to embassy. You just prepare by getting your medical done and prepping for interview.

Hello every one

I dont have a case complete but I thought I might get help from you

my story is that my interview was assigned to be in Egypt and I have sent my documents on 24nov to the NVC after that I requested to change my embassy to Ankara and I had a new case number .

until now I didnt recieve cc nor checklist and i cant call from the country we live in..

Is that normal?any one with a simmilar story? I see they already began with december scan dates

Does the petitioner and beneficiary both of you living in Ankara. You need to call to see whats up. Case compete should be about last week.
