When my husband gets his interview, will there be a problem with the fact we have not seen each other in 16 months? My ex won't let me travel with my son, and my husband tried to come to the states but they refused him on the basis we were going through this process and he didn't have enough ties back to his country. Long story short they just didn't trust that he would go back for the rest of the process. So rather than trying again, we just decided to wait out this process. I've been reading a lot of the reviews and some of them say that they were asked "how often do you visit each other"... I am just a nervous wreck, we've gone through this process for a year and I don't want anything to get in the way of seeing my husband so he can meet his little baby girl who is turning 8 months old on tuesday!

Bem,while I agree with you that they need to update us (those who have pending interviews), I don't think it fair for you to request theirs when you cannot update your timeline for others behind you

I'm pretty sure it will be a big no but is there anyway your EX will give you a letter stating this? You can use some excuse why you need it and that can be shown at the interview as proof why you couldn't go. If not you can get letters from other people like your parents, sisters, brothers, clergy that will testify to this fact? I don't think it will make much of a difference since there are many reasons including financial which they take into consideration.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, ty. :D

quick question:

priority date : april 6 2014

embassy: Ankara

ankara embassy just scheduled feb interviews and some march interviews. it has been a month and a half since cc and we haven't received an interview date yet. Is this normal?

Calling Nvc is useless. Should I try the embassy?

any advice is highly appreciated

Yesterday i got rescheduled from Feb 11 to Feb 18. But i asked for a earlier one and decided to take the: tomorrow 1030 appointment.

And now i can say: Approved!!

It was a very easy going day and also the best part till now!

My cc was Dec 10th and I havent heard anything from my embassy either.

PD Oct 11th 2013 :S:S:S:S

NVC will be scheduling the most (but not only) these upcoming two weeks - thats what Ive been told when i asked at least.

Hello everyone,

Just got word that we received a CC yesterday! I'm so excited!! From reading the post from my Jamaican family, it looks like Kingston interview dates are taking some time to be scheduled. Hope they hurry cause I want my baby to come home as I'm sure we all do :luv:

We are in the same boat but waiting almost one month longer. CC: 12 Nov 2014. PD: 13 Sept 2013. We tried contacting senators, congressman and the embassy but told same useless frustrating stories.

There is even an IR1 case number starting with ANK2015 for a March slot. Guess for Ankara embassy there is no such thing as priority.

I posted my review last night!! I am finally back in my hometown, my visa was issued the same day and its getting closer to where they will delivery, God willling ill be with my husband next saturday!!!! :content::content: :content: :content::content::content::content:

If you are from Mexico and have some questions about the interview and all that sent me a private msg, I was so happy when I was in Ciudad Juarez that I found this website its seriously the best, the reviews help me a lot, I was more prepare then most of the people, ciudad juarez is the easy part, like i said I brought a lot of proof with me and they didnt ask to see anything just my previous visas, all of them, I had 2 tourist and one J1 so make sure you have them all.
