Congratulations on your case complete and your expedite approval. Now you wait for DR embassy. They are not the fastest when it comes to expedites just to let you know. Maybe they are better with the new bigger place.

Thank You. Nvc said the case left on 1/16 but I tracked it yesterday through DHL and it was picked up 1/20 due to Monday 19 holiday. It was received at embassy yesterday so it took 3 days. Not bad. Not I guess once it shows ready on ceac we could schedule our VAC appt and interview date. So Im hoping for some word soon.

Goodness yes I keep forgetting ya'll have that new system. So yes you can do it yourself now. That will be cool.

Come back when you have date so I can plug in.

I already created profile on ustraveldocs to schedule for VAC (fingerprint and digital pic) you can start on that. Im not sure what is your situation but on new system you can schedule your own interview date.

Nvc told me they send my case to embassy on January 16 but when I finally tracked it through DHL website the case was not picked up until January 20. Did they tell you it was send already? What does ceac site say?

.

I haven't called ever since they told me my case was complete when I go on the ceac website it says still at nvc...

I already went on the website you told me to go to It has 3 questions don't know which one to pick,

Starting on the next page, you will be asked to identify your group for the next step in the registration process. Please review the three categories below to determine which will apply to you.

Category 1: Visa Application Center(VAC) Appointment

The National Visa Center (NVC) or Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) scheduled your visa interview appointment for an upcoming date. If so, click yes on the next page.

Category 2: Consulate / Embassy Appointment

It has been more than a year since you first came to the Consulate/Embassy for an immigrant visa interview.

You wish to make an application for Returning Resident Status

You have lost your Green Card and wish to apply for a Boarding Foil (formally a transportation letter) to return to the United States.

You wish to surrender your green card or abandonment of lawful permanent residence.

If so, click yes on the second page.

Category 3: Visa Application Center AND Consulate/ Embassy Appointments

You missed your consulate/embassy appointment

You were informed by the consulate/embassy that your case is now ready for an interview.

If so, click yes on the third page.

Are you ready to select your group from the next three pages

Once it shows In transit on the ceac site call nvc to ask if they schedule the interview or if you are expected to do so on ustravel then you go back to ustraveldocs and your choice would be category 1. You can save the information you already enter on ustravel.

You know send the embassy a heads up. Putting your Case# and Beneficiary name in Subject and just saying you are having medical on Thursday 1/22 and your case file has not left NVC left .

What do other UK folk advise? What did you do?

Just an update... hubby kept his medical date and passed on Jan 22. We had emailed the embassy and they got back to us day of and said they were sorry for the confusion. As long as an interview has been scheduled you're good to have your medical done even if the case hasn't reached the embassy!

Turns out NVC sent out our package 1/23 anyways... so all is good! :)

Hello,

My immigration visa interview was scheduled by NVC on 05-Feb-2015. Unfortunately I am not able to attend the same. As per instruction for Montreal embassy, I have reschedule my visa interview on 16-March-2015.

I have questions about following.

1 - For medical and interview, are old interview letter from NVC and reschedule confirmation enough?

2 - There is clause on Montreal embassy reschedule instruction as below. Does it have any impact on IR1/CR1 interviews?

"For some family based and employment preference visa categories a visa became available within the month you have been scheduled by NVC. There is absolutely no guarantee that the visa will be available again on the date of your rescheduled interview."

Thanks,

OnlyHope
