Hey Guys!! I had my biometrics today in Hermosillo, Mexico. My appoiment was at 8am and i got there around 15 min before, everything went perfect, it was really quick and they were really nice. Funny thing there was somebody else there with an appoiment for Ciudad Juarez next wed 28 same time as me so ill have a friend to talk while i wait lol!!

So nice you'll have someone to talk to while your there. :)t5063.gif

Interview was today - ALL APPROVED!

Apparently I'll get my passport back next week Tuesday, and can start finalising the details for the move then!

This is so scary but so exciting!

Bem,while I agree with you that they need to update us (those who have pending interviews), I don't think it fair for you to request theirs when you cannot update your timeline for others behind you

Yes soon as she has Visa in hand she can leave on the next plane out the country there's no waiting limit. She has 6 months to enter the US.

How long does it typically take to get visa in hand after passing the interview? I thought that the visa was processed immediately after a passed interview, but it seems that it takes at least a week?

Congratulations to all of the recent approvals!!

I'm in Santo Domingo now. With my wife and her family at their house where I always stay when I visit. Tomorrow is the interview. 6:00am appointment. I'm a little speechless and quiet. Mom is cooking and cracking jokes to keep us from getting nervous. It all comes down to this last day!!

No. Do not go by what others embassies report. Every embassy is different.

Everyone should be looking at their own counties portal some have really valuable information on Medical, Hotels, Visa all kinds of things you all ask about. If things are out of date or there are information there you feel should be there every VJ member has access to update the page. Like India you should have that Biometrics info in there. It;s very import.
