Bem,while I agree with you that they need to update us (those who have pending interviews), I don't think it fair for you to request theirs when you cannot update your timeline for others behind you

My interview is on Friday. I feel so nervous. Have finally decided what to wear :-)

I just noticed that date of the status update had changed for both of our cases. (January 21).

What it can be?

I-130 filed - 30/01/213
I-130 approved - 30/10/213 Error in I-130

Every time your case file is touched a note made something added your status is updated. Nothing to be concerned or worried about. Just get ready for interview and go get that Approval. Congratulations :goofy:

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to update you all on my current situation. The DNA package arrive to the US Embassy Dakar on 1/15/16. I received an email today stating that the DNA Center sent them the wrong test!!! I called the DNA center and they told me that they sent the correct test to them. The Embassy told them that they should have received a test for three people...why would they need it when they are fully aware that my hubby is the only one that lives in Senegal and we live in the USA?!?!? Some things I will never understand!

7/11/13--Delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox @ 11:49 A.M.

7/11/13--NOA1

1/3/14---I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center (called USCIS @ 1:34 P.M. to receive update)

1/6/14---Received hardcopy of I-130 transfer notice

3/10/14--Received NOA2 via text message and email @ 2:30 P.M.

3/13/14--Case left USCIS via text message and email @ 8:15 A.M.

3/14/14--Received hardcopy of NOA2

I had another question.. My father is already filing 2014 taxes and he is my joint sponsor.. My husband's interview is on the 4th of next month. Will he need to take 2014 1040 taxes to the interview with updated AOS??

Yes any changes to the AOS he would need to send you an updated I-864 and send you 2014 Tax papers. It's so much easier to just wait just 2 weeks and have his W2 file the next day.

Poor Embassy they so confused. I hope they know how to administer the test. Did they at least swab your husband or they have to wait now? Soryy for all the confusion you are having with them.

Oh ok thank you.. We need tax papers before jan 29th for health insurance.. Taking new AOS will not delay our process right??

Hey Guys!! I had my biometrics today in Hermosillo, Mexico. My appoiment was at 8am and i got there around 15 min before, everything went perfect, it was really quick and they were really nice. Funny thing there was somebody else there with an appoiment for Ciudad Juarez next wed 28 same time as me so ill have a friend to talk while i wait lol!!

Interview was today - ALL APPROVED!

Apparently I'll get my passport back next week Tuesday, and can start finalising the details for the move then!

Folks,

My mother's interview is on 4th of next month. As for the preparation for the interview I have prepared some questions about where she is going to stay, where do I work, what's the address I live at, etc. etc..

apart from this any suggestions as to what should she prepare with and also what other documents besides what interview letter suggests should she take with her at the interview which proves our relationship as mother and son.

You'll be just fine she's your mother hehehe I suggest if she has any funny pictures of you when you were little take them. :D I say stack it on your side always but remember anything they ask her she will know she's your mothers so I think the interview will be short and sweet. :D Good luck not that you will need it. t5063.gif
