After my spouse's interview is approved she is able to go to the U.S. for the POE immediately, correct? I'm just curious as I want to start looking at plane tickets.

I know that I've found this information before, but I can't seem to find it on the NVC wiki page or anywhere else.

Anyway it could be there just wasn't anymore slots open for January or February when they scheduled. When last have you spoken to NVC? And you have verified for sure you have Case Complete 12/10?

All I can say is Call NVC to see what may be happening and to make you you truly have Case Complete. Don;t know if you have a busy embassy or not.

Got approved today on my interview appointment! So excited, thanks to saylin, dwheels and all people helped me from first day i sent papers in USCIS! Wish you best luck all who waits for theirs visa to get over!

If i got cc on 1/16 when should I start calling to check if I have an interview date???

March scheduling hasn't started yet. You will know when it starts. Someone will surely start announcing. This is the quiet time. Nothing is happening right now. Nothing you can do now. So calling NVC will get you nothing. Hopefully scheduling will start next week maybe wed or Thursday.

Yes soon as she has Visa in hand she can leave on the next plane out the country there's no waiting limit. She has 6 months to enter the US.

Maybe Your embassy was closed much of the holiday month. There could be many reasons why. I see by the spreadsheet normally for your embassy people don't have a long wait. So hopefully you will be up in the next queue for March.

Folks,

My mother's interview is on 4th of next month. As for the preparation for the interview I have prepared some questions about where she is going to stay, where do I work, what's the address I live at, etc. etc..

apart from this any suggestions as to what should she prepare with and also what other documents besides what interview letter suggests should she take with her at the interview which proves our relationship as mother and son.
