Can I actually call the montreal embassy to see why a date isnt being given? I havent seem a phone number to directly call them, only an email address

The embassy provides the NVC with their available appointments. The embassy won't even know who you are if you call them before your file gets there. And it doesn't even get shipped until the interview is scheduled. Best you can do is wait for your interview appointment from NVC.

It's not about that skipped you and its not about case complete order. When there is a slew of case completes in the queue this is when your PD comes into play. And many of the folks have a PD well into 2013. It's just a wait in line for your turn kind of thing. remember there's a lot of folk out there not on VJ.

They should start booking for March in about two weeks or so, hopefully I get a early/mid march interview date.

Took 2 weeks to go from 'at nvc' to 'in transit' then one day from 'in transit' to 'ready'. (Our case went to Montreal).

that's not for immigrant visas. That is for non-immigrant visas. You don't need to do anything With that

Hello friends.

Had interview on 15th January MUMBAI Consulate.

Approved.

Got passport very next day on 16th January.

Now time to pay 165$ fees n fly....

If you are at your CC due date and you just want to move things a long but keep it natural ...try curb walking. Find a sidewalk with a curb and walk with one foot on the curb and the other on the street .When you get to the end of the street turn around walk back the direction you came from so all things are equal. After several hours of curb walking your bouncing baby CC should just fall out.

If that doesn't work call NVC and ask them to strip your file of any checklists clearly they have already stripped your pockets and patience. If your bouncing baby CC still does not appear demand a referral to a Specialist in CC delivery. Sometimes interventions are not a bad thing but the wait for the Specialist can take weeks just so you know.

If all else fails just relax and enjoy this time...have a glass of wine,take a long hot bubble bath,pamper yourself because after the CC does come it will be on like Donkey Kong with appointments for physicals and a follow up appointment with the CC doctor just to make sure that all is OK with your bouncing baby CC .

In the end your bouncing bay CC with bring you and your husband much joy and the pain and anticipation of the arrival of your bouncing baby CC will all have been worth it ! Take it from me an Nurse Midwife that has seen the joyful birth of many bouncing baby CCs.

This procedure is for the birth of a CC but works equally well for interview dates ;-)
