Hey everyone, just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I see a lot of my fellow Canadians got Feb.10th interview dates, which is my birthday so I think it will be a good day. I got my SS card

Bem,while I agree with you that they need to update us (those who have pending interviews), I don't think it fair for you to request theirs when you cannot update your timeline for others behind you

How do I induce labour? Lol

Man if I knew that I could be rich and famous. I had a friend went in to be induced on a Monday Nothing they sent her home, next day same thing nothing. Finally Friday they induced, baby finally decided to come out. 5 days of people, injected with inducing drugs and nothing, So imagine that. :wow::ot:

It's like right when you think you might know whats happening immigration changes everything. NVC and USCIS I don't think they know what the heck they are doing half the time and when we call them asking I know when I use to call them in 2012 and 12013 they would be like "how do you know that or I didn't know that who told you that?" like duhhhh :bonk:

My husband had his medical exam today in Managua, Nicaragua. It took about 5 hours from start to finish and cost $170. Lots of waiting between steps (X-ray, blood test, physical examination, vaccinations) but he got a clean bill of health! If you are in Managua, we recommend Dr. Gilberto Martinez.

hello VJ family...................so happy we finally got interview date...............i have a question if anyone can answer us please...........how far ahead do we have to notify the embassy or NVC to change the date for the interview.........we might have to reschedule the interview so how do we contact montreal embassy to change the date.........................thank you in advance......................

You are really stuck between a rock and a hard place. Because you can't do anything until the case gets to the embassy. However since ts so soon. I would try yo email them right now since you want a later date Be prepared to be moved a month or more ahead like March.

Email Montreal now tell them you situation that you need a later date and see. Tell them you interview date. Don't get picky and ask for a particular date.

Hopefully they will do it without your casefile being there.

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!
