Have a question.

I had interview on 12th and was approved and no 221g was issue. But still status shows Administrative Process, is that normal? or sometime they don't update

I have seen that people who had interview at Mumbai embassy gets their passport with Visa in 2 business days.

Just done with my wife's interview here in Manila with a big thumbs up! Visa approved and will be delivered in a couple weeks.

I am getting worry cc on January 5th got cc email on January 12 but no interview yet who ever got cc around same time they got their interview date I am getting really nervous!!!!!!! My consulate is ISL PAKISTAN

It depends on the embassy. If theire have a lot of appliciations it takes longer till a open slot is for your interview. Here in Switzerland for exemple it goes very fast, since here just a couple of immigration visas get issued every month.

Quick question... my wife interview is in the afternoon. Is it ok if she showed up in the morning? I know some consulates are first come first serve but not sure about Jordan.

You're telling me! I have a CC date of Dec 29th and no interview date! Is MTL always the last or something?

yea its disheartening! I called yesterday and there wasnt anything scheduled yet. Montreal typically does two rounds, one at the end of the month/beginning of the month and one mid month around 12-14th of the month.

I am really hoping for a February interview but losing hope as days go by.

I will call them on friday to see if anything is booked, if not then it likely wont be till March. If you call before that keep us updated!

Yes that is normal usually a 1 or 2 day thing. Is is normal administrative things that they have to do. Then it goes into Issue. Long as the CO said you are approved nothing to worry about.

Most people are there at their embassy in the first in the morning regardless of the time scheduled. I don;t even know why they even schedule a time. I would be first am. First come first serve you know.

Sorry for Off the topic.

My husband is LPR n would b coming to India n then we both will go to US. I would like to take connecting flight with lay over of around 7 hrs at London Heathrow bcz my grand mom is living there n she want to meet both of us. (Mumbai to London, London to Boston)Is it possible to meet relatives at airport only,if she come to Heathrow airport. Is there a requirement of any adfitional visa? I would b travelling for the first time as a spouse of LPR. Plz help honey. Thanks in advance...

Hello everyone. So I haven't been able to schedule Biometrics appointment for my wife since the status at the CEAC site still shows "At NVC". I called yesterday and they escalated it so a supervisor could take a look at it. Appointment is only 3 weeks away literally from today, so I'm a bit concerned. Anyone else in same boat that can elaborate?

Thanks dwheels76. The reason I asked is because I seen someone posted couple weeks ago that he went early for his interview and was told he can only get in half an hour before his scheduled interview time.
