Folks need your help.

I just spoke with NVC representative and he confirmed that interview is scheduled on 4th Feb, 2015. I am scared. I don't see enough time for doing medical. What about the file that NVC yet has to send to embassy?? Is there enough time to do all the needed formalities???

I am excited and happy but worried at the same time.....

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

DWheels I have a stupid question

Has anyone ever made a mistake on the A number when paying the Immigrant visa fee? I just did that today.... I was told I need to contact a tier 2 officer to get them to change it. I wasn't able to get transferred due to high call volumes. They told me to call back tomorrow. Meanwhile I am having an anxiety attack just worrying about this. Husband is flying on Sunday morning so I have a little bit of time. I guess its a good thing I realized it was entered wrong and correct it now rather than wait and have his greencard be delayed..... but I still feel like a dumba$$

Why are you concerned about what NVC needs to do. You need to get your medical done. NVC knows how to get a case file to your embassy in a day if need be believe that. Just deal with what you need to do and let them deal with what they need to do. Hate to be stern but needless worry ....well is needless.

By the way Congratulations on the date glad to see India is back scheduling. I have updated you on the spreadsheet.

Pls Dwheels.or anyone.

If you have done your medicals and have the result at hand(the envelop & cd plate) and your case has gotten to Lagos consulate. Is it possible to inform the consulate you have your medical report ready and get an earlier interview than the original date you have on your p4 letter without expediting based on any medical emergency reason..

just letting them know u are ready incase they is a free slot.

Bem all you can do is email and ask. Highly unlikely because Lagos is already overbooked as it is. But you won't know unless you ask. You need to email them ASAP.

Even My hubby's interview is on the 4th of feb but in Delhi. He got his medical done on Jan 9th and will get his reports this week and on the same day he will get his biometrics done. On Jan 8th our package was sent to Delhi embassy and on the 12th the status showed "Ready." Don't worry and don't underestimate India..they know their timings!! :thumbs:

I am just worried about medical but I guess for medical I have enough time. I need to see what else I need to prepare for interview.

its been a long weekend for us.......didnt had chance to call ill call them tomorrow........good luck

i called just now, no interview scheduled.

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

I just got my interview date (via email) - February 9th at 9.30am. I am in shock and so thankful as I was expecting a March interview. All things going well, this would mean a smoother school transition for my daughter :dancing:

Looks like London is still scheduling - I got CC on Jan 7th. Now I need to hurry up and go get my medical!!
