You might wanna check again jcruazazucar. Mine just changed today to " In Transit"... My question to dwheels, soloenta and all is .. I believe I read somewhere that once a case is completed, it is shipped to the respective consulate immediately even though it still states " At NVC" and it only says " In transit" when the document has actually arrived at the consulate. Please I stand corrected. Maybe I am hallucinating here..

2) In Transit

3) Ready. That is when your documents is at the embassy. At this point u can book an interview

Please someone else to put it right if am in the wrong.

Hi dwheels, is it at all abnormal that I received CC on 12/15, Interview letter on 1/03 and my case still appears "AT NVC"? My interview is set for February 25th and I'm just wondering because I read on another thread that it should be shipped out a few days after the interview is scheduled.

For the busiest Embassy on earth not abnormal at all. its almost 6 weeks and they still have to get through this month. Not like they have alot of places to put all these case files.. I know usually they send out 3 to 4 weeks ahead sometimes. but this early not always.

They are still preparing for what they have on their plate now. (you don;t want your papers to get mixed up and lost now do you). hang on. usually mid month. things start loosening up.

No that's not true. It's not sent immediately. Mind was sent 2 weeks later. It all depends. But immediately usually not. And they usually go out Fridays and Mondays..

Happens to us all. Blame NVC. I swear we should all get hazard pay from them after this is all over. Phew.

As phones are not permited inside, did they provide a place where people can keep their phones

3) is the $165 for the green card payed in cash or is pos used

. 4) was he asked question about his school or job history.etc

Yup, I called today. Nothing yet. Let us know if you hear anything!

Looking at dwheels excel sheet, i see that most months people got their interview dates on the 13th of the month. I plan on calling tomorrow (13th) after work. I will let you know what they say, try calling tomorrow as well and update if you can!

1. If you bring phone you can hand over your phone to the police man outside they will hold for you of course for fee.
2. You need to be in the queue no later than 5am
3. $165 is paid online with credit card on the ELIS system. You will be given instructions how to pay and all that. NO cash
4. Everybody gets different questions according to their situation and the evidence . There is no staged answer for each person. Some people are hardly asked anything. Some are hammered. This is Lagos so yo unever know. Be prepared and know your love one inside and out and know where they come from and where you are going to.

Mine says the same, and my wife's interview is Feb. 10.
