I got my cc on December 31st and still don't have a interview date, according to nvc Yerevan embassy is full up to March and i wont get a interview date until some time next month, does the nvc really have to wait until next month to issue me a interview date?

If it's cheaper why not, I've done it they don't care as long as you paid for it. :D But make sure its cheaper, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

Alright. Finally decided to get onto this thread. Don't get on much because life, well let's face it, it's busy.

However can't forget to get at least updated with everyone. Papers, as of today, have been delivered to the embassy and now waiting for them to call and give the interview date. Hubby goes in for medical tomorrow afternoon so hopefully it won't be long afterwards that they'll schedule him - not so nervous about the interview (after 10 years of knowing him and 6 years of marriage you'd think he'd be able to ace this) just trying to tip the impatient bone in my body to calm down a bit and let things just smoothly happen.

I find the hardest part of all of this is to just go back to normal life while putting this whole 'time' issue in the back of your head. I mean, to be honest, I think I've done an okay job but I've got two kiddies to keep me busy and try to keep a straight face.

Anyways, will update once I have an interview date - the clock begins but I'm sure thankful to be looking at this clock now and I hope everyone else soon gets to this stage and onwards!!

The NVC can only schedule what the embassy provides. The embassy provides all open slots and the NVC fills them up. If they are all booked, then yes, you have to wait.
