My husband had his medical done today in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

It seems everything went find. But even though we brought his complete vaccination records from his birth, he had several vaccinations. Total cost was $376USD.

Interview is on Wednesday.

good luck with the interview all will be just fine.

Bless your heart Sukie. I knew if I threw up that Bat signal you would answer. Thank you so much with prompt great answers.

DWheels, I'm laughing hysterically! Not EVERYONE would know what a "Bat Signal" was....but I'm old enough to know!

Quick question!!!

I filed an I-864ez AOS with 2013 1040ez income tax return (scanned and sent to NVC).

They ask me In my P4 latter to

Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

MY QUESTION

Do I have to bring at interview just what I sent or I have to bring a latter from IRS?

Do I need to sign it from attorney?

Thanks in advance

That is boilerplate language. If you submitted 2013 tax returns or transcripts you do NOT need to bring anything. DWheels76 suggests that you bring the sponsor's 2014 W-2 to the interview, but it was not required in our case at all.

PS: I've already answered this question three times in the February 2015 forum, and DWheels76 has addressed it twice. It really can help you to read ALL of the responses. It can help you feel much better and more confident!

2014 taxes aren't due until mid april so you don't have to provide updated tax return. However, just to be safe provide a copy of your last paystub in 2014 just in case they ask for it (this is what I am doing).

On the embassy website they said the I864 needs to be notarized so I got mine notarized just to be safe but not sure if this is a requirement.

I'm going to do it like u but my I-864 not notarized and it's in Jordan with my wife. I'll ask her send it back to be notarized. The embassy website drove me crazy, I got checklist because Arabic translation doesn't match %100 in English.

Ok someone help please: I keep seeing people say that they register their appointment with the embassy. What does that mean? I thought that once the appointment is set, we had nothing else to do. If I have to do anything else, someone please tell me and what does it really mean to "register my appointment". Also, please help with this: "Applicants must pay the full $265us at the cashier inside Consulate on the day of the interview/cita." What $265 are these?!! I paid the IV fee and AOS fee, what else do I have to pay???

Some embassies require applicants to register for the service to have their passports delivered. Some other embassies require to schedule a separate appointments for biometrics (fingerprints). Check with your embassy's website.

Is it $265 or $165 fee? i know there is a $165 USCIS immigration fee you are supposed to pay after your visa is approved and prior your departure for the USA. But most people do it on-line.

May be someone who recently had interview in your country can clarify.

My wife had her interview today in France while on a tourist visa and it was approved. She will get her passport back in about a week or 10 days.

The important point to note here is that it does not matter what visa you are on in the country where you take the interview. The US embassy does not care about it. The residency requirement only comes into play while actually applying for the I-130 and NVC process.

That's the problem, there are close to none from DR on this site answering any questions. DWheels76 is the one that helps me the most, but when I call the embassy, they don't know the answer which makes me furious.
