I don't know what forum is best for my question sorry.

I know when you travel overseas you need 6 months+ on your passport. I am returning to the United States in early February and will have maybe 6 months and 2 weeks on my US passport. Is this alright?

I plan on renewing my passport once in the US, however it will take too long to renew it between now and when I want to leave to go home. I won't be going to any other countries for awhile.

Does anyone know the rules on this? I think I will be fine but just want to double check thanks.

If you're a US citizen you can enter on the last day of the passport's validity if you wish, as long as it's a US passport.
