No I skipped it completely as it says in the form that it's optional if you are meeting poverty guideline, and in my case we're exceeding far above.

Did you fill out the assets section on the I-864?

If you didn't fill it out, then bank statements and such aren't required. It's only needed if you're trying to qualify on assets.

I prefer summer all year round. And I'm a city girl. Hence why I'm planning on moving to Orlando when my one year lease is up in October, hehe ;)

Guys,

quick question

What's the possibility of getting checklist if I haven't submitted any bank letter or statements showing available fund? Although, I did not send this information as my own salary was more than enough to beat poverty guideline limit. (Just to be on safe side I also added my wife as a join sponsor - by the way I filed the petition for my mother).

What are the chances that I would get the checklist. Give your feedback. Thanks.

I received a checklist for this. My joint sponsor's AOS was accepted/approved and everything else on our form but we forgot to include bank statements because we weren't using assets as they weren't needed. I feel stupid for writing it in now when it wasn't needed. The supervisors we spoke to admitted that bank statements weren't needed to process the application but that they needed it in writing that assets are not being used. We are now getting close to 60 days on waiting for our checklist response to be reviewed.

Luckily for you, NVC are inconsistent and incompetent and therefore, there's a chance you will get check listed and chance you won't. I hope it's the latter.

EDIT: Just saw your response to Saylin. You were smart. Ignore my response :dancing:
