Hi ItsGonnaBeWorthIt, so you said "I think that's what everyone is doing", you mean people use to send their both package before the IV bill invoiced or you mean they use to do like you? Does your IV bar-coded cover sheet same as your AOS bar-coded sheet? thanks so much for your help!

Hi Bluebeard, So that what you have done? i am want to sure because I want to send my package as soon as possible, but I also don't want to make any mistake that might delay the process. So the scan date will depend on the AOS package right? thanks so much for your help

Doesn't matter if it's one tiny mistake or 10 big ones, it's put into the same queue as everyone else, so you still need to wait the time regardless.

The checklist said the sponsor didnt sign the approriate line on I-864/A sponsor's promise. But my husband (sponsor) did signed and dated it... he called the NVC to asked for supervisor review but the rude rep told my husband if it said its not signed then its not sign (on high pitch) and told my husband to just resend the form uggh.. so he did mail again instead of asking for supervisor review and to argue with those rude rep.. :( uggh such a pain

I (PRINCIPAL IMMIGRANT) do not have an A-Number. Should I leave it blank in I864?

Also in I864A in Part1 the Q2Mailing adress and Q3Place of residence is same. But leaving the q3 blank generates checklist. So should I type the same adress two times?

In one of the letters I got from USCIS, I thought they assigned an A-number for the applicant in that stage. Please check.

Actually I am positive I saw an A-number under the name of the applicant in one of the letters from USCIS.

I just checked my NOA2. It just contains my name. No number assigned.

Thank you so much.

Well, according to the NVC, you should send both packages together and you can use the AOS cover sheet to do so. You won't be making any mistake here because their backlog to review packages is around 60 days, so while you wait for your case to be reviewed the IV fee will become available (once they review the DS261 form) and, after payment is processed, you will be able to fill the DS260.

Of course, you can choose to wait after paying the IV fee and submitting the DS260 to send both packages; it will only be a lengthier process, but nothing else.

I864 part4 question 12. Active Duty in Military Service

The instructions say to be completed by petitioner sponsor only.

What about joint sponsor? Should he left it unchecked or check no if not in military services?
