Hi Kels,

I completed my DS-261 on 15/1/2015 and was able to pay my IVF fee on 23/1/2015 and sent out AOS and IV with respective cover sheets on the same day. Its amazing how for some people IVF invoice 2 days after AOS.

I would call again and hope you do not get Abby.

You mean you scan date is Jan 22 not Dec 22nd?

My IV fees were invoiced after two days. But I think that is because my case was pending in NVC for four months as I was under F2A then. My case was upgraded from F2A to CR1 52 days after requesting to upgrade via email. (Requested NOV 26, Upgraded Jan 16)

Yes I meant Jan 22nd. My signature is correct. Oops

Took them exactly 60 days to upgrade mine back in August 2014. ?

Sorry, my IV fees were invoiced 6 days after filling DS261. I was calculating from the day my AOS fee was invoiced. (Jan 20) Ifiiled DS261 on jan 16. AOS fees invoiced and paid Jan 20. IV fees invoiced and paid Jan22. From your timeline it seems your IV fee was invoiced 3 days after filling DS261.

So, maybe the IV fees are invoiced quickly for the cases that were pending in NVC earlier.

I filled out my DS-261 2 weeks ago and called NVC this morning to see if they could review it to invoice my IV fees. She said sorry I need to wait til they get to it. Spoke with Abby.

She was polite but they won't always review because of a call like many others have had luck with. Think I'll just wait it out since my packages are already sent in. She confirmed it is okay and suggested to send AOS & IV packages BEFORE the IV bill is invoiced.

She also confirmed that our scan date is Dec 22nd, which was the date when NVC received in body of letter NOT the date at the top of the letter. Just FYI for those like me wondering.

i just read another person got the IV invoiced when they called .. i mean it really is up to you but i think it was the rep you got. they called and got it taken care of right over the phone . but since you don't need it to send all your stuff , waiting for that to be open really isn't a big deal.. i wanted to pay it that's the only reason i called , just wanted to get everything out the way .. but your fine it will open when it opens

Should I just send both package before the IV bill is invoiced(I meant right after we pay AOS fee and got the bar-coded cover sheet for the AOS package)? I have seen some of us mention it in earlier posts. I thought we need the IV bar-coded cover sheet to place on top of the iv package. Can someone please clarify this?

its best i believe to wait til it shows paid before sending out your docs and you can send both packets out before IV fee is invoiced

Doesn't matter if it's one tiny mistake or 10 big ones, it's put into the same queue as everyone else, so you still need to wait the time regardless.
