Good morning everyone.

If you send in documents to the NVC via email will you receive some kind of confirmation and if so, what is the timeframe from email to receiving this confirmation. We just sent in the I-864 required documents and the civil documents.

Hi. I received an email within 5 to 7 days (can't quite remember but it's in my siggy). They WILL respond and the day they quote as receiving your docs should be your scan date, at least it was that way for me. I have noticed that the timeframe has increased a bit since I submitted my stuff, but you can call NVC and they may be able to give you the info over the phone.

I just called the other day the operator told me that I got cc on 22 jan (aos checklist). But today I got an email from NVC that I got another checklist. But I checked ceac website, the aos fee still shows 'n/a'

Do you guys think that was a real checklist?

Might be a false checklist...What did the new checklist email say the checklist for? Is it different from the previous checklist that you got ?

Hey they might have given you a checklist to take documents to the embassy. But can you give us more info?

Hello all, got NOA2 approval and am preparing the documents, question about I-864EZ form 16 question:

a. yourself and the person you are sponsoring on this form - 2

b. your spouse-?

What should be filled for b? 0 or leave it blank as spouse was already counted in a.?

Effectively, you are already done with NVC, they are just telling you that the applicant must bring a corrected AOS as to what this letter is telling you to correct. If you notice, the letter clearly says that you should NOT submit the AOS to NVC cause they want the applicant to bring that to the embassy during the interview.

Guys, I just called them and they said I have to bring the correct aos form to the interview.

And it's said in the email that I have to bring it to the interview. Hmm, I didn't read that carefully cuz I was shocked.

I feel like NVC just pranked me.

So far I've been waiting over two weeks for confirmation that they have received my EP documents. I have been advised every time I call to give it another seven to ten days. I am trying to call now, but am getting a message saying customer service representatives are not available.
