Just logged on to the CEAC website to see N/A under the AOS fee. Will obviously need to call on Tues to confirm, but fingers crossed it's case complete.

Scan date 24th November, no checklists.

Just confirming my case is complete. The rep told me it was completed on 17th January, which is odd as that was a Saturday.

To all those waiting, best wishes for a speedy resolution, and thanks to all in this forum, particularly Saylin for her patience and hard work.

Folks, I've heard there's new prompts with the new phone system. Can a few people confirm what the options are now to get to an operator? I'd like to update the wiki :)

For the IV package, now that just photocopies of civil documents are required, yes, he can scan and email everything to you, and then you print everything out.

Yes, you'll need new passport photos. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/general/photos.htmlNeed to be taken within the last 6 months. If your spouse can, he can just take his photo at home (following the photo guidelines in the link above) and then send you the file. You can then go to the website I link to in my wiki, upload the photo, and it'll crop it for you to 2" by 2". Then you can print it out at home on photo glossy paper (you'll get 5 photos printed on a 4" x 6" sheet) or you can bring the file to like a Walmart, Target, or Walgreens (basically anywhere that prints photos) and you can print it out from there for a few cents. I took my photo at home, printed it onto a photo paper, and used them for my NVC/medical/interview photos. Had no issues whatsoever :)

Scanned photos are sometimes not editable as per the guidelines. It is better if he takes a photograph by a digicam infront of a white background. (I created white background by simply pasting white pages on my room's wall using cos tape.) Then he can email the photo to you. :)

Oh, well, if he's already taken the photos, that's fine. Just have him scan both the pictures and send it to you. Then you don't really even need to go to the website. Just bring the image file to a photo printing place and print that photo out. Make sure it comes out so the passport photo is 2" x 2" for each. Then just cut the outline of each photo, and voila, 2 passport photos. He can then keep the passport photos for his medical and interview (he may need more, depending how many he got done and how many he'll need [it varies by country]).

Just make sure he uses a high quality scanner, so that when you get them and print them out, it doesn't look like they were scanned or anything ;)

Absolutely. The picture should not be of low resolution.
