It's official , got my CC today called and confirmed my scan date 19th Nov (AOS checklist)

19-11-2014 checklist received at nvc (60 days email)

16-01-2014 - Case completed (N/A on NVC wedsite)

20-01-2015 - Case completed Email with checklist

04-02-2015 - Interview scheduled

Hello guys ..

I've been uscis approved decembar 2, on 4th they sent to NVC..

Still nothing heard from NVC , no welcome letter, no nothing..

Does anyone have the same problem ?

be proactive,call them, ask them if they already recived your case and assigned the case#

Hello,

My case got upgraded from F2A to IR1/CR1 today. :dancing: I did not recieve any email from NVC but I was able to fill up DS261 today. I chose my husband (Petitioner) as the choice of agent. I am not able to log in to the payment portal though. Is this normal or I need to be worried? Help anyone?

So- I just got my scan date for IV/AOS today...per an email from NVC. My question: is this a "standard" email they send out to lower expectations of processing times? Or are they INDEED receiving more petitions and thus it may take longer than 60 days?

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 14-JAN-15.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

Call at least to find out if it was received.

Earlier they stated to wait for 30 days but sicne August last year they increased it to 60 days. So it is evident that there is an increased amount of cases for them to deal with. As per Visa Journey members' timeline it's taking anything between 55-65 days to review the case from the scan date. (without any checklist)

Call on late tonight or Tuesday as Monday is a Federal holiday.

Persons with 12-12-14 : Case received by NVC was only assigned yesterday

Hi ritbiv,

You don't need to worry about the AOS payment as it usually takes a day or two to be activated. You will receive an email from NVC when it is ready for payment on their website. In the meantime, you could get the AOS package and supporting documents ready to be mailed; once you pay the AOS fee, you can send all your documents to the NVC using the bar-coded cover sheet.

Be patient. Good luck.

Scan date Nov 19th. I was able to visit my husband in Florida for Christmas, New Year's and our 1st anniversary, happy days. Hoping for CC soon.
