Hi Everyone

First Post ever.

I have been a silent reader all along but decided to join today to help some anxious people like myself.

Hubby sent I-130 - 11/4/2014

NOA1 - 11/07/2014

NOA2 - Approved - 11/25/2014

NVC Rec'd - 12/9/2014

Case and IIN 01/13/2015. :dancing:

I always called first thing in the morning. This morning started call at 6.56 and got through at 7.13. With all the excitement i forgot to give them my email address. So called back and waited about 30 mins. When i finally got through the guy told me that my case number was only added last night and my email address was already on case file but could not add anyone else since they could not touch information on the screen at this time. Atleast they have one email address..

Hope this helps someone.

It must be the upgrade. Ive been calling and the call is simply disconnected. Redial like 50 times and same disconnects.

Thats weird because I called this morning and spoke to someone about my case.

Question...my wife is USC (naturalized). Should she fill A# at part4,q11?

I too am a naturalized USC and I spent many hours toiling over what to do with part 4, q11 on the I-864.

With the USCIS I-130 I had researched, googled & read everything I could and learned that your A number will always follow you and to put it on I-130 part B #10. So I did and we cleared USCIS with no RFE's in 5 months.

For the NVC you check the box that you are a U.S Citizen. There are three more choices of boxes to check ~ the third being Permanent Resident. If you check that box that you are a "permanent resident" then the next line asks for your A#.

I decided to only check the U.S Citizen box ~ and leave the rest blank. We just got CC with no checklists 2 days ago :.) I hope this helps. (F)
