Congratulations to you too! It feels so great to be out of NVC with no checklists! I've already been approved for an expedited interview at the embassy (I am 37 weeks pregnant and PRAYING my husband makes it before our baby is born) so I am hoping to have an interview in the next few weeks. We are already done with the medical, just waiting for NVC to send the case to the embassy and get an interview scheduled. Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Wow! What a story you have ~ I am so happy that you got through! I sure hope he makes it in time for the birth of your baby...all this must just feel a bit TOO exciting for you ~ I'll be following you closely on the interview thread ...best of luck to you (F)

45 minutes on hold for me too last night. I also called 75 times in a row before getting through to be put in the queue, getting a busy signal every time. Persistent to the point of insane! My mentality is they can make it as difficult as possible but they will not win, there is no giving up.

Oh my gosh SRS77...my experience exactly yesterday. I started trying around 2pm...realized after 40+ tries and getting a busy signal and sometimes dead air and then to a busy signal that I wasn't going to get through and needed to get my business shipping done before the end of the day. Finished and started trying again around 6pm. I had Skype dialing and my land line on "redial" I switched back and forth between them forever constantly getting either a busy signal, dead air or a disconnect on Skype. Finally it was Skype that rang through. And that's when the 45 min. hold time started. Maybe this is connected to them changing the call in system as of Jan. 12th. but wow...that was a challenge to find out we had Case Complete. I'm so thankful to be finished with that and really feel for the people who are still stuck in the system...many for errors on the NVC's part out of their control. Hoping to see lots more CC's on here soon~ (F)

Case Complete here - my AOS Fee changed from PAID to N/A earlier today. I was dreading a checklist, but somehow I managed to dodge that bullet. My AOS and Civil document scan date was November 18, 2014.

I will now retire to the interview forum but before doing so would like to salute the members of this forum who have collectively made this brutal and nerve-wrecking process a lot more bearable, enabling a lot of us with information that the wretched system of ours has failed to easily divulge. One would think for the amount of taxes we pay we would at least have a less hostile agency overseeing our LEGAL reunion with our loved ones.

Good luck and God Speed to All those who await!

I see 3 N/As!! Hope its CC! We had a checklist we sent Nov10. We received the 60days email with a scan date Nov 17 but the rep said our scan date is Nov 24 when we called her. and on Dec 10 we sent the new requirement by Amman embassy for the non-conviction certificate instead of Police certificate (which they approved the first time) but checklisted the non-conviction for Amman cases so we sent it as soon as we heard about that.

anya2013 let me know what happens with you

Good luck to everyone waiting!!

I recently got this email a few days ago

"This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

We updated the mailing/email address for this case. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change in personal situation that may affect the principal applicant's entitlement to a visa."

what does it mean?

Today I received

A letter was sent to the petitioner or attorney of record indicating the Affidavit of Support requirement for this case is incomplete. Please submit the requested Affidavit of Support form(s) and/or financial evidence, as indicated on the checklist. The requested information must be submitted to the NVC for this file to continue processing.

To download the appropriate Affidavit of Support form(s) and instructions please visit:

http://nvc.state.gov/aos

We are sending a duplicate packet of information that is important to the processing of this immigrant visa petition. If the designated agent has provided an email address the packet will be sent by email; otherwise, the packet will be sent by postal mail. When the packet is received, please follow all instructions and submit any required fees, forms, or documents to the NVC. Please allow at least 14-21 days for the packet to arrive.

There should be no reason for my form being incorrect. The corrections are supposedly that I did not enter the number of immigrants and that I did not type in my spouses name (which I did I have copies of all my documents).

I'm not sure what to do :( I've been dealing with NVC since early August. I also don't know why they are mailing the checklist when the last checklist was e mailed to me.

I just called nvc and got a message that nvc is closed today Is today a holiday or a special for them???

Hmm, that's weird. It's neither a federal holiday today, and I just checked the weather there and it looks fine.

Can anyone else confirm they got this message when calling NVC?

Wonder if it has anything to do with them upgrading their phone system.

Although, they should have updated their system BEFORE they opened and not during their business hours

It must be the upgrade. Ive been calling and the call is simply disconnected. Redial like 50 times and same disconnects.
