If you look at NVC Document Cover sheet, just to be sure:

2. Financial Documents: this is for AOS?

3. Supporting Documents: this is for IV?

Also under 3 is photocopies section? As the NVC accepts just copies now (no originals needed) is this still needed or can I check NA?

I have similar question:

I have got one cover letter from NVC with my "welcome" letter, it has checklist for all documents for both packages as well as barcode with my case number. Now I have got another cover letter in email that says I should put it on top of my AOS package but it has just some info, address to send to and barcode with case number on it, but no checklist for docs. Which one should I include in my AOS package?

And if I use that one with doc checklist should I make two copies of it and fill out first part (financial docs) for AOS pack and second part for IV docs pack leaving the other part blank respectively?

Thanks

Thx. I put N/A on the family members name/relationship that did not apply to me. Did you put N/A on their birth date as well or leave blank?

Here is what instructions for I-864 say:

How to fill out I-864:

1.

2.

3. Answer all questions accurately and fully. If an item is non applicable or the answer is "none", leave the space blank.

From programmer's perspective - if a field is coded to be a numerical value, especially if it's transcoded in barcode on the bottom later, it would be a nonsense for a system to receive n/a value. Blank is just equals 0, which is correct for those fields, n/a is a different non-numerical value. They don't read those pages, they scan them, barcode will respond to blank fields with 0 value, which is correct in questions like "list number of dependents" if you don't have them and similar questions.

It is true what you wrote but why some people did get checklist because they left some questions blank?

Maybe just the dates can be blank...in the end adobe won't let you to fill NA in those boxes.

does anyone know how long it takes once your case is transfered to a supervisor for review. My case was transfered directly for supervisor review after 60 days for no reason and without an initial review.

AOS checklist Scan date 07 nov.

Not to be a dream crusher but that was 80 days from case # assigned. Right now that can take anywhere from 1-2 months from NOA2.

Just so you have a better expectation :) Hopefully they speed up with assigning case numbers! Wish you luck with your coming NOA2 and rest of the process!

I was also having problems phoning this morning. Instead of a normal busy signal it just said "the verizon customer you are trying to dial is unavailable". Same # i've always used.

Will try again tonight. Hope you have some luck!
