A divorce decree proves absolutely nothing in regards to child support. It just shows you're divorced, that's it.

Within the divorce decree it states the amount my ex must pay in child support each month. Even with that being stating, it could not be used as supporting evidence?

Oh! If it states that on the decree, then yes, that can be used.

I have seen samples of the I-864 online and noticed differences between them. One being the income where some people put $55,000.00 while others leave off the ".00". I don't want a checklist over something so little therefore which way is correct or does it not matter? #ThisFormHasMeANervousWreck

they say its because of the few days Christmas and new year holidays. so now they are taking more than 60 days for all dcouments to be reviewed.

Not yet. its getting so frustated. I am calling them on daily basis but the same old story that they had few holidays. When i called on friday, someone i talked to forwarded my case for supervisor review on the basis that my case should have been reviewed within 60 days. I dont why did he forwarded my case to a supervisor before an initial case review?

Its already been 66 days since my AOS checklist scan date.This process is not understandable seriously.

i have a few questions regarding the affidavit of support form.
(1) Since i am petitioning for only my spouse, do i put n/a on the I-864 when it asks for family members 1-5 on part 3 or do I leave them blank?
(2) On annual income do I put $55,000 or $55,000.00 ?
(3) Since I am not using any income from other household members do I put N/A and $0.00 for their income or leave it blank?

For these questions rep told me to put N/A.

For income we'll put 0,00 because the same format is on the tax transcript.

Thx. I put N/A on the family members name/relationship that did not apply to me. Did you put N/A on their birth date as well or leave blank?

The NVC rep told me not to leave anything blank, so we filled everything with N/As

I can't tell you outcome of this because I've still haven't sent it...

Yes I knew I would need to write an explanation letter. I'm on hold with NVC now to find out what I should put on the form. Once I know something I'll post their response to make others aware if they are in the same situation....... On a side note, I'm tired of listening to "your patience is greatly appreciated". LOL I have no patience

Finally got through to NVC, it's confirmed! CC as of 1/09, in line for interview scheduling. Scan date was 11/18, no checklist. Thank you all! Off to the interview forum in stealth mode.
