but my wife is not included in part 3 at all. shes only listed in part 2. so the actual total of numbers 1-6 is 0...see why i got confused? I mean unless I am supposed to include her as a family member in part 3 also...but she's not a family member of the main applicant either.

Your wife is (or should be) included in part 3, at item 1: "I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2". Then at item 7 you enter 1, as you are totalling up all immigrants from item 1 through 6.

we are awaiting a case number....should only have ?? days to wait before we start the NVC process....and we can't wait for this process to be over!!!!

question #1: are those 42 wait days calendar days or working days???

question #2: I (beneficiary) will be moving towards the end of the month, probably before we get our case number, etc. My new address will appear on our forms submitted to NVC but whom else must we notify? Do we need to notify uscis? I have googled this but cannot seem to find the answer since we are between the 2 worlds right now I just don't know.

thanks for your help.

you should have answered 'yes' to item 1 of part 3. therefore, your wife is included in part 3

42 calendar days.

Don't worry about informing USCIS...You can update the new address when you fill out form DS-260. Beneficiary's mailing address is not relevant since both beneficiary and petitioner will receive emails from NVC.

If you look at NVC Document Cover sheet, just to be sure:

2. Financial Documents: this is for AOS?

3. Supporting Documents: this is for IV?

Also under 3 is photocopies section? As the NVC accepts just copies now (no originals needed) is this still needed or can I check NA?

On the I-864, under my current annual income I want to include child support from a previous marriage. Will a copy of the divorce decree count as supporting evidence or will I need proof of payment by checks or bank deposits? He pays in cash and I never deposit the full amount which will make it impossible for me to provide proof any other way.

A divorce decree proves absolutely nothing in regards to child support. It just shows you're divorced, that's it.
