Yes, tell them you need to speak to supervisor once they on phone explain that you are 100 sure abd have copies that it was sign and dated.

Asked for speak to supervisor, she told me to wait, few mins later, she said she gave my case number to the supervisor, and told the supervisor what happened, the supervisor said there is no point talk to me since the supervisor can't give me anymore information. So, she told me just wait until supervisor review it again.

Do I get confirmation email said my case is currently under supervisor?

Thank you

Thank you Saylin, noooooooooooo I'll be and am patient, problem is some and I mean a lot of my e-mails have been how shall I put it, not arriving at their destination. Many of my friends have complained I haven't replied to them when I have. So sorry I didn't explain myself. :)

Oh, ok. I'll message you here on VJ when I emailed you back to let you know, so you can see if you actually got the email or not!

Wow thanks!! We will do that!!

I'd also suggest bringing the first letter you got from NVC with your case number and such. That'll show you're at the next step in the process after USCIS.

No they dont email you to confirm supervisor review. If you can call later again to confirm what the rep said that supervisor will review. Get supervisor's mame. And then keep checking on ceac it usually changes to n/a once supervisor completez review.

Hi Guys,

First of all I have to say that this form is so useful, it gives a lot of knowledge on processes and the current updates.

I really need help with my NVC process. My scan date in NOV 10, 2014. I received a checklist from NVC and they are asking for Passport police certificate from India. Here is my background I was born in India, moved to Canada when I was 18 years old. I am a Canadian citizen and dont have any kind of Indian visa. My Indian passport was expired 7 years ago.

I am married to a US citizen and we have applied through consulate processing. I found this link on travel.state.gov website http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/IN.html#policerecords-6 which says

  • Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) applicants residing outside India.

I called NVC which took about 45 redials and was told that I dont need the police certificate from India and write a letter explaining that I am a Canadian citizen and cant get the police certificate. The online information are so contradictory and is confusing me. Has anyone of you been on the same boat. My lawyer is not helpful and not replying to my emails and calls. Would greatly appreiciate all your help

Called nvc for status on expedite requested. Nice polite gentleman explain they received my requested document and it has all been forward to embassy which decide if to approve or not. Didnt give a timeframe for response from embassy. Does anyone know about how long before I can get an answer if approve? Still counting down 60 days too. Last scan date Dec 16.
